Medicaid gives 80 million Americans the ability to access care they desperately need, like my constituents Mary Lee Ruby and Michael Thomas.
Donald Trump and Republicans want to force people like Mary Lee and Michael off Medicaid to give billionaires tax cuts.

“Without Medicaid, I could die.”
Medicaid is a lifeline. It's not a shortcut for Republicans to give handouts to billionaires. whyy.org/articles/del...

Medicaid is America's single largest health care provider.
Republicans are plotting to steal care from 80 million Americans — all to enrich their billionaire donors.
Today, Democrats are hosting a nationwide Day of Action to fight back.

I was at USIP tonight to conduct congressional oversight over DOGE’s break in. I spoke with Acting President & CEO Moose. USIP is an independent, non-profit entity and I will work to stop DOGE’s illegal power grab.

Arlington National Cemetery is a sacred place of honor and respect for those who have served our nation. This censorship from the Trump administration does not erase or diminish the service and sacrifices of Black, Hispanic, and women veterans who fought for our freedoms.

Yet another scary example of this administration's addiction to lawlessness.
EXCLUSIVE: The White House says it ignored a court order to turn around 2 planeloads of accused Venezuelan gang members because the flights were over international waters and therefore the ruling didn't apply

"DOGE" employees may face criminal exposure for violating laws about financial conflicts of interest. @raskin.house.gov @frost.house.gov @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social @repdangoldman.bsky.social @repescobar.bsky.social & I are investigating enforcement of those laws:

Every single one of my Republican Ways and Means colleagues just voted to oppose much-needed transparency into why and how Musk has sought treasury payment information and American’s sensitive data.
If no laws have been broken, there should be nothing to hide.

This is a bad bill and every Senator should vote NO!

Mahmoud Khalil must be released, the Trump Administration must answer for his detention, and these attacks on First Amendment rights must end.

Elon Musk rehired the person who said he was “racist before it was cool” and put him on the team responsible for SSA firings - an agency with one of highest proportions of Black workers.
The GOP demean qualified hires if they are Black or women as “DEI hires” while empowering unqualified racists.
Trump is subverting background checks because he hired a like Elon Musk who wouldn't pass. @tedlieu.bsky.social and I introduced the Security Clearance Review Act to reform the vetting process for presidential appointees. We can stop this if more in Congress join us:

FoxNews reports Trump and Vought are already planning to steal funding from the Republican (de)funding bill (aka "the CR") and it hasn't even passed!
They're planning to violate a law they haven't even enacted yet. Why would anyone vote for this? Nobody should!
