Trump pardoned 23 violent criminals who harassed, assaulted, and terrorized abortion clinic staff and patients. This isn’t “pro-life.” This is pro-violence and anti-women. Trump’s message is clear: extremists can harm people with impunity if they share his views. It’s disgusting and dangerous.
Trump’s pardon of violent anti-abortion activists is deeply personal for Julie Burkhart. She worked at a clinic targeted with attacks in 1991, which led to the creation of the FACE Act. “He’s proven our fears are valid,” she says. “I hurt for the women who just need good, sound healthcare.” #Velshi
Oh my God! I was just being cynical. He does the most bizarre stuff. I imagine before he was sent to military school. His father must’ve asked him to throw out the trash and he brought trash back in the house. He’s just an unthinking contrarian.
No response . After I did my letter, Jamie Raskin letter a letter which I joined from almost the entire Democratic judiciary delegation, saying basically the same thing and no response. I think it was being “doing the right thing” which was a little Pollyanna.

Tax dollars should prioritize real benefits for real people—like high-speed rail connecting #Memphis to #Atlanta, #Nashville & other cities. Not sending Elon’s or any other billionaire’s rockets to Mars. Let’s focus on investing public funds here on Earth where the public actually lives.

It’s been 2 weeks since I wrote Governor Lee about Tennessee forfeiting $1.1M in Summer EBT funding—a program that fed nearly 700,000 kids last year. Feeding hungry kids isn’t optional and the silence from his office is unacceptable. Children and families in Memphis & throughout TN deserve answers.
I urged Trump to release JFK assassination records, and hours later he issued an executive order to start the process. Transparency delayed is accountability denied. After 61 years, it’s time for the American people to know the truth. I'll keep pushing to ensure this is done right—no more excuses.
