This case could pave the way for discriminatory racial gerrymandering, diminish the voting rights of so many friends and neighbors, and directly result in an estimated 19 more Republican seats in Congress.
Federal workers serve this country with dedication every single day. I joined over 150 of my colleagues to ensure the Trump Administration follows the law and backpays furloughed employees. To every federal worker: we value you, we thank you, and we’ll keep fighting for you.
Today marks the last day of #HispanicHeritageMonth, but our commitment to our Latino communities continues every single day. In these challenging times, we must keep fighting for equal opportunity & basic dignity for all, charting a better path forward for every one of our neighbors - together.
Our communities are stronger because of the contributions of ALL of our neighbors. We are a nation of immigrants — we can never forget that. #HispanicHeritageMonth
Too many families in NJ and across the country are dealing with rising costs. Republicans need to come to DC to reopen the government, cancel Medicaid cuts, and extend ACA tax credits. That’s what this fight is about.🤝
This week, I visited north Jersey and sat down with union workers about the government shutdown and how Trump freezing funds for the Gateway Project impacts them.   More from our conversation coming soon.
The Trump Administration is cutting funding for New Jersey’s emergency preparedness. Protecting our communities against terrorist attacks & other threats should be an issue EVERYONE cares about - regardless of political party.
Today I am leading my New Jersey colleagues in Congress calling on the Department of Homeland Security to restore life-saving federal grant funding to our state that has been slashed.
ACA open enrollment begins Nov. 1st. And NJ families are already receiving notices from their insurance companies that premiums will skyrocket. We cannot let this happen. House Dems are in DC ready to work to protect healthcare, lower costs, & end this gov shutdown. Can the GOP say the same?
📍Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in Newark 💪 Honored to celebrate our strong Latino heritage with Essex County—recognizing the cultures & leaders who make our communities stronger. Congratulations again to everyone recognized for their inspiring service!
Spanish-language media is crucial to informing and empowering our Hispanic communities in New Jersey and beyond. Proud to join Rep. Bárragan in uplifting Spanish-language journalists, broadcasters, and entertainers for their contributions to American democracy and society.
📢 Join me for a Telephone Town Hall on Thursday, October 16th at 5:00PM to talk about the government shutdown, how it impacts our NJ communities, and what's at stake. Your voice matters in this fight. Share your questions when you submit the RSVP form.
