📍Planned Parenthood Metro NJ Cheers with Peers in Newark
📢Planned Parenthood provides life-saving care and services to so many New Jerseyans. Great to spend the evening with some of the incredible individuals who do this critical work every single day, making our communities healthier and stronger.
Today marks the 50th anniversary of Springsteen’s “Born to Run”! And an opportunity to recognize his incredible work, contributions to our state and say that I love NJ and this district “with all the madness in my soul.” 🫶🎉 🎶
📍Jersey City 25th Annual Pride Festival
🏳️🌈 Proud to celebrate love, equality, and the vibrant diversity of our community today! As a member of the Equality Caucus, I will always fight to uplift our LBGTQ+ friends and neighbors.
📢 NJ-08: Do you need a REAL ID? In partnership with Hudson County, our office is bringing the NJ MVC Mobile Unit to YOU on September 2nd in Jersey City.
Appointments are available through our office, but space is limited—call us at (201) 309-0301 or email nj08events@gmail.com to reserve your spot!
My @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social colleagues and I will never back down especially when ICE continues to target our communities.
The law is clear: we have a right to conduct oversight at ICE detention centers, and any effort to block that right is illegal.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social are working every day to push back against these cost increases and stand up for families.
Back-to-school season should be an exciting time for parents, teachers, and kids.
But rising prices on school supplies and everyday essentials are making it tougher for too many families to get ready for the classroom.
Rolling back translation services makes life harder for millions who rely on them to file taxes, access healthcare, and receive important government updates.
That’s why I joined my colleagues in demanding answers from the Trump Administration on this harmful decision.
I just led a letter to Trump’s DOJ demanding answers on their elimination of language access services. Over 25.7 million Americans rely on translation services. Our letter makes clear: language access is a right, not a privilege, and Congress will hold them accountable.

Happy 101st birthday to Congressman Frank Guarini!
A dedicated public servant and cherished Hudson County legend.
That’s why @repespaillat.bsky.social and I led our @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social colleagues in calling on DHS to stop impeding congressional oversight. These visits are key to making sure operators are following the law and standards are being met.
New restrictions on our LEGAL right to conduct oversight are a blatant attempt to protect the Trump Admin and private prison operators from accountability.
Congratulations to County Prep High School's own John Palsi on being named Hudson County Teacher of the Year!
We're grateful for all the incredible educators across our community who dedicate themselves every day to shaping and inspiring the next generation.

The impacts of Hurricane Erin will be felt across the Jersey Shore over the next several days, generating dangerous rip currents and high waves.
As conditions worsen, we urge residents and visitors to avoid wading and swimming in the ocean, especially when lifeguards are off duty.
Every moment with our community is both a joy and a privilege. Together, we’ll keep fighting for a stronger, fairer New Jersey. Forever thankful for the people and places that make this district what it is 🤝

Trump knows his Administration is failing the American people and if Republicans compete in a FAIR election they will LOSE.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social will hold this Administration accountable and that’s exactly what Americans want.
Why do this? Because Putin knows how to play Trump and his refusal to accept his 2020 LOSS.
First, it was rigging the Texas map to help Republicans.
Now, Trump is going after mail-in voting, which would only hurt seniors, military families, and the millions of Americans who rely on it to cast their ballot.
Trump: "Vladimir Putin said something- one of the most interesting things. He said 'your election was rigged because you have mail in voting. It's impossible to have mail in voting & have honest elections.' He said that to me because we talked about 2020. He said, 'you won that election by so much'"
