My bill will close this loophole and stop "Special Government Employees" like Musk from cashing in on government contracts while pulling the strings of power.
Federal employees can’t use their positions to line their pockets. It’s illegal. It’s corruption. It’s theft from taxpayers.
But apparently, if you're Elon Musk, the rules don’t apply. That's BS!

Rep. Mark Pocan has introduced the ELON MUSK act (full name is Eliminate Looting of Our Nation by Mitigating Unethical State Kleptocracy Act) which would ban "special" government employees like Musk from having federal contracts.
This unelected billionaire is grifting American taxpayers—trying to cut vital programs just so that he can get an even bigger tax break. Stop the grift! Stop Elon! www.jsonline.com/story/news/p...
Elon Musk is grifting the American taxpayers. I'm fighting back with the ELON MUSK Act to ban "Special Government Employees" like Musk from holding government contracts.

Unelected billionaire Elon Musk has been bulldozing through the federal workforce.
To all the selfless civil servants, our message is this: America needs you, and we have your back.

Know anyone on Medicare or Medicaid? Elon Musk is one step closer to accessing your personal information and deciding what healthcare you might be able to get.
Trump has dumb ideas every day, but this might be the dumbest of the dumb things he has said.

Elon Musk is ripping us off and like millions of Americans across the country, I'm pissed.
I'm taking action by introducing the ELON MUSK Act, preventing grifters like him from getting richer while pillaging our tax dollars for himself.

BREAKING: Rep. Mark Pocan has introduced the ELON MUSK act which would ban "special" government employees like Musk from having federal contracts.
The full title of the bill is the Eliminate Looting of Our Nation by Mitigating Unethical State Kleptocracy Act.
Elon Musk gets more than $20 billion in contracts from the US government and bought his way into a new role in the government where he can direct even more money to himself. Enough!
My new bill, the ELON MUSK Act, will end this grift!
Stop Elon’s grift!
F**k around --> find out.

Great to stop by at Henderson Elementary School. As a proud graduate of public schools, I will never stop fighting to support public education!
Elon Musk is screwing with your money. Someone (ANYONE) in the GOP majority needs to put a stop to this billionaire’s hostile takeover of our country.

It's Monday, February 3rd and a lot is happening.

It often feels like the chips are stacked against us. But if we all unite together, fight, and make our voices heard, we will win. For this week’s #MagicMonday, I explain this idea with a magic trick, featuring Representative Delia Ramirez.

The Musk/Trump Admin illegally shut down USAID, abandoning America’s global leadership. For decades, we led efforts to stop world hunger & eradicate disease, building good will across the globe. China sees this as their chance to take our place, and the trust we built over years.
Let’s be clear: No one elected Elon Musk. The world's richest man should not have backdoor access to our government’s financial systems.
How much more control of our country will the Republican Majority give to billionaire elites?
Thanks to the Biden Administration, Wisconsinites can access Direct File, allowing us to file our taxes for free.
I have been pushing for Direct File to come to Wisconsin for years and am thrilled to see that it will save money for Wisconsinites!
Our country is a better place because of the incredible contributions of Black Americans. Happy Black History Month!
