Pope Francis was one of the most remarkable leaders of our time – from taking action to protect our planet to promoting the human dignity of all people. His loss is one that is felt around the world.
I enjoyed snowshoeing last week on the beautiful Colorado Trail. It’s always great to explore our state’s incredible public lands and discuss how we’re working to preserve these landscapes for future generations of Coloradans.
Pete Hegseth’s continuing contempt for our intelligence community and abdication of his duty to our armed forces and the American people are completely unacceptable – and dangerous. President Trump must remove him immediately.
26 years ago, the Columbine shooting left 12 Colorado students and a teacher dead, and altered the lives of many others. As we remember the lives lost that day, let’s stand united in our commitment to freeing every child from the threat of gun violence.
Head Start supports over 40M American children each year, including thousands in Colorado. As we face a child care crisis, cutting Head Start would be devastating, especially for our rural communities. With my CO colleagues, I’m urging President Trump to preserve funding for this crucial program.
It was great to join @pettersen.house.gov for a town hall in Salida Wednesday night. As we continue working together to counter President Trump’s shortsighted efforts and improve our state for every Coloradan, I’m grateful to all those who showed up to have their voices heard.
Direct File makes filing taxes easier, simpler, and cheaper for hardworking families. While President Trump claims he’s cutting costs for Americans, his plan to end this critical, free program comes at the expense of taxpayers across the country.
Across the country, family caregivers play a critical role in the lives of their loved ones, often at a significant financial cost to themselves. My bipartisan bill will make things a little easier for them ⬇️
Now, President Trump is openly defying the Supreme Court’s ruling to release him. This isn’t just unacceptable, it’s illegal. The Trump administration must bring Kilmar Abrego Garcia home NOW.
The Trump administration’s deportation of Maryland father Kilmar Abrego Garcia was an admitted mistake that flies in the face of our country’s laws.
At our town hall with Representative Neguse in Boulder, we spoke with Coloradans about everything from building a strong economy to fighting back against the Trump Administration. I’m grateful to all who showed up to have their voices heard.
Parkinson’s Awareness Month is an opportunity to support the 1M Americans living with Parkinson’s, including more than 15,000 Coloradans. Let’s work together to advance research, improve care, and find a cure. #ParkinsonsAwareness #ParkinsonsMonth
It's always great to welcome members of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association to the office. We discussed everything from Colorado’s needs in the next Farm Bill, to ensuring USDA programs live up to their potential.
In the richest country in the world, child poverty is a moral obscenity. The expanded #ChildTaxCredit would change the lives of millions of American children for the better. Today, Democrats demonstrated that we are fighting for families in every corner of our country.
Today, I’m introducing legislation to permanently expand the #ChildTaxCredit to put kids first and help millions of working families make ends meet. Tune in to our LIVE press conference on my Facebook or YouTube pages at 12:30 PM ET/10:30 AM MT!
Ukrainians of Colorado stopped by my office today to discuss the importance of U.S. support as the Ukrainian people continue their brave fight against Putin’s aggression. We must not allow President Trump to weaken Ukraine's negotiating position when there is so much at stake.
I met with Denver East High School’s 'We the People' team to congratulate them on their recent win in the Colorado competition and hear what's on the minds of our state's bright young leaders. I’ll be rooting for this team as they compete in the national finals this week!
