- AT Protocol DID — Required for authentication.
- Email Address (Pro Accounts) — Required for billing, subscription management, and support. Email may also be collected for account recovery or optional features.
- We do not require names, addresses, phone numbers, birthdays, or other personal demographic details.
1.2 Billing Information
For paid subscriptions, third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe) collect billing details. We do not store or process credit card information.
We may store:
- Stripe customer ID
- Subscription plan and status
- Billing history metadata
1.3 Usage Information
We may collect:
- pages viewed
- searches performed
- bills and legislators you follow
- settings and preferences
- device/browser information
- IP address (for security and fraud prevention)
1.4 Sensitive Data (Political Information)
Following bills or legislators, interacting with civic data, or engaging with political information may reveal political preferences. We process this information only to provide the Service, not for targeted advertising or political persuasion.
2. How We Use Information

- operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- authenticate users via Atmosphere Accounts on the AT Protocol
- provide personalized features such as followed bills and legislators
- process and manage subscription payments
- send transactional emails (billing, receipts, account notices)
- send optional product updates and announcements
- detect fraud, abuse, and security issues
- comply with legal obligations
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
3. Email Communications
3.1 Transactional Emails
