Maria Ellen Cantwell is an American politician serving as the junior U.S. senator from Washington since 2001. A member of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Washington House of Representatives from 1987 to 1993 and in the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 1995.

I heard from a mom in Pierce County with a son who’s fighting cancer. They are absolutely terrified about the risk of losing cancer research dollars from Trump’s funding freeze. It's not a parlor game, it's not a think tank exercise. It is their lives.
It was a pleasure to meet Fondra Magee of Spokane's Stevens Elementary -- she was in DC last week to be honored as WA State School Counselor of the Year. It’s National School Counseling Week, so I’d like to say a special thanks to all our state’s hardworking counselors

All conflicts of interest between the FAA and Elon Musk must be removed. It is a conflict of interest for someone whose company is regulated by the federal government to be involved in anything that affects his personal financial interest, his company or his competitors.
