Our hearts and prayers are with the Jackson family and the millions of supporters who understand the importance of the work he carried out both nationally and internationally most of his adult life. (2/2)
Jesse Jackson was a warrior, poet, and icon for civil rights and economic justice for more than 60 years. (1/2)
I congratulate the three Republican House members who stood up for Congress’ constitutional power. Now, I hope the rest of their conference will join a united Democratic caucus in a strong vote to reject the broad tariffs that are raising costs on American families.

To further protect consumers’ pocketbooks, Congress should pass the Pharmacy Benefit Manager Transparency Act that will make PBMs’ spread pricing and claw backs permanently unlawful. (3/3)
The FTC can - and should - do even more to stop PBMs from engaging in unfair practices that drive up drug prices for Americans and force independent pharmacies out of business. (2/3)
The FTC’s recent settlement with Express Scripts over manipulation of insulin prices is a step in the right direction. (1/3)

Gonzaga's world-class researchers are leading the way – and ushering in the technologies of tomorrow.
Great talking to President Passerini about how new federal funding will bolster Gonzaga's R&D mission and unlock opportunities across the Spokane region.
Team USA, America is so proud of you! The United States is sending its largest Winter Olympics team ever—232 athletes from 32 states, including 10 from WA—to compete in the 2026 Games.
The Trump Administration is demanding our state’s voter rolls so they can get personal information about Washingtonians. You can't spy on Americans.
My appearance on Morning Joe ⬇️
Washingtonians will not be intimidated when it comes to voting. We know that voting rights are guaranteed by our Constitution, and Washington state’s vote-by-mail is safe and secure.

Americans have the right to express their views without being killed. We should know that we are upholding civil liberties.
The Department of Homeland Security and ICE should be investigated.
My speech on the Senate floor ⬇️

Pam Bondi has sued Washington state to get sensitive voter data.
I’m standing strong against efforts to undermine our voting system. Democracies don't grow on trees. They need to be protected, defended, and fought for. My letter to AG Bondi ⬇️
#BlackHistoryMonth is a time to celebrate the immense contributions of Black Americans to our society, culture, and politics. We also recommit ourselves to fighting racial inequities and ensuring equality for all Americans.
We also invested in air traffic controllers, the National Transportation Safety Board, and aviation manufacturing. (2/2)
Today the Senate refused to give a blank check to fund DHS and ICE for the next year. We rejected President Trump’s 40% cuts to health care research and mental health programs and instead invested in them. (1/2)

Voting by mail is safe and secure. A new USPS rule could delay postmarks, preventing mail-in voters’ ballots from being counted.
I’ll continue to push back against any actions that would undermine our elections or make it harder to vote. My letter to the Trump Administration⬇️
