Growing up in Wooster Square, the heart of New Haven’s Italian American community, I learned the value of hard work, faith, family, responsibility, and community.

We honor the courage of Rosa Parks and boycotters that bravely stood together for justice and continue to inspire us to keep fighting for racial equity today.
