Trump is too busy trying to slap his face on everything to lower costs for working people or end his war in Iran. My new bill, the HUMBLE Presidents Act, would stop the president from advertising his own personal brand. Our leaders should focus on the issues that matter to American families.
This is important progress that will help Virginia’s workforce and families thrive. Every family in America deserves this support. It’s time to pass the FAMILY Act, which would guarantee up to 12 weeks of paid leave for major life events. www.whsv.com/2026/04/22/v...
I’m relieved everyone attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner is safe. Law enforcement and the Secret Service responded quickly, and I’m grateful for their swift response. Political violence has no place in our democracy.
Senate Republicans are gearing up for their big push to dump billions of dollars into ICE and CBP with money they cut from YOUR health care. Meanwhile, they refuse to lower gas prices or limit Trump's war in Iran. ICE needs reforms, not more of your $$$$$.
This is exactly why I pushed so hard to fully certify and publish the Equal Rights Amendment. Laws limiting reproductive care would violate the Constitution. Decisions like this are proof we need to be pursuing this argument every chance we get.
