Ruben Gallego

Rubén Marinelarena Gallego is an American politician and Marine Corps veteran serving since 2025 as the junior United States senator from Arizona. A member of the Democratic Party, he served from 2015 to 2025 as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Arizona and from 2011 to 2014 as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives.

Today, we celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day and honor Arizona’s 22 federally recognized tribes. Their history, heritage, and culture are vital to the story of our state and our country.
If Republicans don’t act 24 million Americans will be devastated by sky rocketing health care costs. Speaker Johnson needs to call his people back and stop covering up for pedophiles.
I was honored to meet with Ukrainian Ambassador Olga Stefanishyna today. We will continue to stand with Ukraine and provide them the support they need to defend their freedom and defeat Russian aggression.
Today I was in Globe and Miami to survey the damage from last week’s flooding, talk with families and small business owners, and thank the first responders helping with recovery. These communities are resilient and I’ll do everything I can to help them get back on their feet.
What happened in Grand Blanc this morning is devastating. No one should ever have to fear for their life in a place of worship. I’m praying for the victims, their families, and the entire community.
