June is PTSD Awareness Month. If you’ve lived through PTSD like I have, you know it doesn’t make you weak. It means you’ve been through something hard and you’re still standing. Ask for help. It’s worth it.
Let me break it down for you: Slower growth + higher prices + fewer jobs = harder for you to provide for you family. This isn't a joke. Families will have a harder time paying their bills.
I’ve heard from people across rural Arizona. They are terrified. If Republicans succeed in cutting Medicaid, it’s their hospitals that will be hit the hardest. Call Republican members of Congress. Tell them to not abandon rural America.
When Sydney was pregnant, we worried about what would happen if the baby came early or if there was an emergency. Now imagine facing that same fear without a hospital nearby. That will be the reality of women across the country if Republicans succeed in cutting Medicaid.
On Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and honor the generations who fought for it. It’s a reminder that progress is possible but never guaranteed. We’ve got to keep fighting for a more just and equal country.
Republicans are kicking 16 million people off healthcare to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. And then telling people to suck it up because “we all are going to die.” Absolutely shameless.
Los republicanos quieren quitarles el seguro médico para otorgar recortes de impuestos a las grandes corporaciones y los ricos.   Casi el 30% de los latinos usan Medicaid — el programa que está en riesgo.
No one is talking about the fact that Republicans’ budget bill would trigger $500 BILLION IN MEDICARE CUTS. Your grandma’s care is on the chopping block. All for billionaire tax breaks. We have to fight this.
Republicans know cuts to Medicaid would devastate their own constituents, but they’re still lining up behind Trump’s plan to gut it. Cowardice at the expense of working families.
I’m heartbroken and horrified by the brutal murder of Melissa Hortman and her husband. Sydney and I are keeping Senator Hoffman and his wife in our thoughts as they fight to recover. This kind of violence is devastating. No one should ever fear for their life like this, especially in their own home
Our family just got a little bigger, and I couldn’t be more grateful! While I’ll still be voting on the floor, I’m stepping back from public duties for a while to focus on my most important job — being a dad. Thank you for all the messages of love and support.
