I served in Iraq and live with PTSD. I think about the men I served with and the friends we lost. My biggest fear is that we’re about to repeat the same mistakes that got us into that war. If leaders can’t define victory, we risk another endless conflict.
Trump rushed us into a war with Iran that’s sending gas prices through the roof. Now his “solution” is to weaken sanctions on Russian oil, handing Putin a payday while Russia helps Iran target our troops. I’m standing with my Senate colleagues demanding accountability from this administration.
I was proud to join UnidosUS today as they launched their Economic Prosperity Agenda. From raising wages to expanding homeownership and supporting Latino entrepreneurs, this agenda focuses on what working families across the country are asking for: a fair shot at the middle class.
Americans are being told we can’t afford lower drug prices, affordable child care, or relief at the grocery store. But somehow we can afford a pointless war that costs $1 BILLION every single day. What the fuck happened to America first.
If you can’t afford your health care right now, it’s not because we don’t have money for it. It’s because Republicans would rather fund a useless war than help you keep your insurance.
Trump and Republicans: Sorry, no money for your grandma’s healthcare.
Also Trump and Republicans: Let’s spend billions blowing up the Middle East. They can always find money for war, just never for you.
Would you give your money to a guy who said, “You can literally sell shit in a can, wrapped in piss, covered in human skin, for a billion dollars if the story’s right,” Why are we considering letting these people run a bank.
Met with Japanese business leaders about strengthening U.S.–Japan relations. Our partnership creates jobs, security, and innovation. I’m proud to support Indo-Pacific alliances that keep America strong.
