In Denver, we met with community leaders at Montbello’s FreshLo Hub. As basic necessities become less affordable, the work they’re doing here to create affordable lives for Coloradans is remarkable. We’re fighting to make sure families across the country have that same access.
Scientists fired. Measles cases up. And we’re less prepared for the next pandemic. That’s what we heard in Adams County meeting with public health officials from around the Metro area. The Trump admin has done a number on America’s public health. It puts our families and communities at risk.
Across Colorado, the message we’re hearing from Coloradans is clear: they want stability. They want relief. The president couldn’t care less. He’s got no plan to get us out of Iran, while prices at home continue to rise.
What are they hiding? The victims and the American people deserve accountability, not deflection and distraction. Release the Epstein files. NOW.
President Trump said in an interview with The New York Times that Melania Trump “had a right” to speak publicly about Jeffrey Epstein. In remarks on Thursday, she gave a surprise statement about Epstein, saying she was not a victim of his and had no knowledge of his crimes.
This idea from the Trump administration is flying under the radar. It shouldn’t. Shutting down customs at major U.S. airports would hurt millions of American businesses, workers, and families, and totally upend international travel. Yet another self-inflicted wound.
New DHS Secy Markwayne Mullin, in an interview with Bret Baier, says he wants to consider pulling Customs out of international airports in “sanctuary cities,” which would effectively shut down a huge amount of international travel to the U.S. LA, NYC, BOS, SF, Chi, SEA, Miami, DEN, Phil, SD….
Americans want stability. Lower gas prices. Cheaper grocery bills. Not more chaos. Congress needs to be briefed immediately. We should vote again on a war powers resolution to prevent further escalation and end this illegal war. (3/3)
It is unclear whether this ceasefire delivers the President’s primary objectives, or rather just guarantees increased inflation, higher prices on pretty much everything, and continuing chaos. If your head is spinning, you’re not alone. (2/3)
Another day, another unhinged press conference from President Trump. I ran a brewpub and dealt with plenty of belligerent bullies. When someone got out of line? We cut them off. We showed them the door. So why are Republicans still serving this guy?
President Trump spent his Easter Sunday issuing dangerous, reckless threats in his illegal war with Iran. This isn’t a game. He’s putting our service members and innocent civilians at risk. He is not making sense. He needs to stop.
