This was a bipartisan bill that passed the Senate and House UNANIMOUSLY. Donald Trump is playing partisan games and punishing Colorado by making rural communities suffer without clean drinking water. Congress should swiftly overturn this veto.
NEW: President Trump's first veto of his second term kills a unanimous bill to fund a major drinking water project in Colorado. Trump had threatened punishment for Colorado for imprisoning his ally Tina Peters. www.9news.com/article/news...
Ben Nighthorse Campbell passed away this afternoon at the age of 92. He was from the Northern Cheyenne tribe, and served 6 years in the House and 12 years as a U.S. Senator. He was a master jeweler with a reputation far beyond the boundaries of Colorado. (1/2)
Four years have passed since the Marshall Fire forever changed Boulder County. Today, we remember those we lost and stand with all who continue to carry its impact.  We’re deeply proud of our community’s strength and of the resources we’ve secured together to help rebuild and heal.
Folks on both sides of the aisle recognize that NCAR’s work is critical to agriculture, public safety, and so much more. We will continue to use every tool at our disposal to fight back.
Proud to build and lead a bipartisan coalition with Rep. Jeff Hurd and @bennet.senate.gov & @hickenlooper.senate.gov — joined by more than 80 of our colleagues in the House and Senate — to protect NCAR in the FY26 NSF appropriations bill. We will not stop until NCAR is protected — period.
Another example of Colorado blazing the trail. Now release and expunge records for everyone who was charged with federal marijuana crimes – and let's pass our bill to prepare us for federal legalization while we're at it.
This isn’t a game. These are people’s lives. Coloradans are trying to rebuild their lives after fires and floods destroyed homes and communities across our state. Trump’s decision to reject our disaster requests and withhold resources as our communities continue to recover is unacceptable.
