Republicans’ plan to rip away Medicaid from millions of Americans for a billionaire tax cut will break our country's working class and put lives at risk. Grateful to the New Mexicans who spoke with me today about how vital Medicaid is to them. We're going to fight this.

It’s official: USDA has listened to our calls and is putting $8.5 million into a new sterile fly dispersal facility to stop the spread of the New World Screwworm. That’s welcome news for New Mexico producers and wildlife, and our food supply.
Juneteenth demands that we face our nation’s painful history and commit to the work of bettering our nation as we right the wrongs of inequality and injustice. This requires us to remember our history, not erase it. Today and every day, we must demand liberty and justice for all.
Cruel and immoral. Eliminating a suicide prevention program for LGBTQ+ youth – that’s what this administration is focused on. I'm focused on delivering for New Mexicans, and that includes our LGBTQ+ youth, who deserve to get the help they need, when they need it.
I'm joining my colleagues in demanding that Trump immediately withdraw military forces from Los Angeles. His decision to deploy the National Guard and U.S. Marines without Governor Newsom's consent is an abuse of power that has only escalated tensions and wasted taxpayer dollars.
This morning’s brazen and tragic act of political violence should have no place in our country, and yet continues a terrible and escalating trend. My thoughts are with Minnesota Speaker Hortman and Senator Hoffman’s families, friends, and communities.
I’m closely monitoring the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran. My top concern is the safety of American servicemembers and diplomats in the region. The U.S. must lead efforts to de-escalate, return to diplomacy, and prevent Iran from ever obtaining a nuclear weapon.
GRANT COUNTY: There is a “go” evacuation order for those in the Highway 15/Highway 35 junction area to the Lake Roberts area. Please, take caution and follow guidance from USFS and the Grant County Emergency Manager.
Trump promised to cut energy prices in half. But thanks to him, electricity prices keep going up. This thread tells you why. ⬇️
Trump is making electricity more expensive–not less. That’s because of something we’ll call the “Trump Tax”—a combination of tariffs, canceled clean energy investments, and cuts to energy affordability programs. Now his “big, beautiful bill” could make it even worse. 🧵
