Yesterday marked a major milestone in the Fargo-Moorhead Flood Diversion Project as the Red River was officially rerouted after years of bipartisan work and cross-border collaboration. This project will bring permanent flood protection to nearly 260,000 people in MN and ND.

Trump's tariff taxes are hurting the economy, slowing growth, and driving up inflation. American families are paying the price.
Nothing like Vikings training camp for high hopes! Caught up with the incredible Coach Kevin O'Connell to talk everything Vikings!
Health & Human Services slashed $500M in mRNA vaccine funding, undermining our ability to develop vaccines for future pandemics. Science should guide our health policies.
As John Lewis said, voting is "the most powerful nonviolent tool we have to create a more perfect union." On the 60th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, in the face of relentless attacks on our democracy, we must continue the fight for civil rights.
So great to visit Carl’s Bakery in Granite Falls – they make delicious pastries and coffee!
A beautiful day at Farmfest! Great to connect with ag leaders from across Minnesota.
My message to our farmers and ranchers: I’ll always have your back.
Great to be at Minnesota Farm Fest on Linder Farm Network with Lynn Ketelsen Dan Lemke, and @mnfarmersunion.bsky.social’s Gary Wertish.
Bright and early start this morning at Rhema's Coffee Shop in Glencoe. I got to meet the owner's daughters, Isabel and Elia. Super great coffee and home baked food!
Larry Summers, former Treasury Secretary, on Trump’s attack on economic data: “Firing statisticians goes with threatening the heads of newspapers. It goes with launching assaults on universities. It goes with launching assaults on law firms. … This is really scary stuff.”
Welcome to the world, Elena Linda Johnson Castañeda! ❤️ Congrats to my former press secretary Kayla and her husband James on the newest addition to their family.
Trump’s tariffs are raising costs for families and hurting small businesses. The average household is paying $2,400 more, with $300 of that in higher food prices. Inflation is rising, uncertainty is growing, and Americans are paying the price.
Rural businesses fulfill a crucial and often overlooked role in our economy. My bipartisan Rural Exports Act will give rural businesses the resources they need to reach new markets, boost exports, and continue to innovate and grow.
Grocery receipts don’t lie. Child care costs don’t lie. Trump's $2,000+ tariff tax will hurt families, and firing a respected statistician will not change any of that.
Thanks to Congressional Republicans’ cuts, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting - which brought us everything from emergency weather alerts to educational kids programming - will permanently close its doors. This is a massive loss for the American people.
Congrats to Mayor Jacob, Sarah and especially big sister Frida on the arrival of Estelle Bloom Frey!
18 years ago today, the I-35W bridge collapsed in Minneapolis. As I said then: a bridge shouldn't fall in the middle of America. We came together and rebuilt and remain committed to preventing another tragedy.
