I miss my friend, especially now. Whenever you would call John on the phone and reached his voicemail, he would end with, “Don’t take your eye off the prize.”  America: don’t for a second take your eyes off what Republicans are doing to undermine our elections. The time to use your voice is now.

Every American must stand up and call out these lies for what they are. I will always fight for our rights and our democracy.

This administration has only made life harder and more expensive for American families. Now, he’s ordering Congressional Republicans to rig our election system with the SAVE Act in a desperate attempt to hold onto power.

If you didn’t catch Donald Trump’s incoherent ramblings tonight, here’s what you need to know: Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. Fair and square. He’s still selling the same lies that led to a violent insurrection five years ago.

I just voted against the motion to proceed with the Senate Republicans’ version of the NDAA. I will not condone Trump’s illegal war with Iran that has already claimed the lives of 15 servicemembers and costs the American taxpayer billions of dollars.

The Trump administration is dismantling the public health infrastructure Americans rely on – making it harder to save lives, prevent disease outbreaks, and protect our food supply.

President Trump has weakened America’s food safety and disease monitoring systems by firing the inspectors and researchers who keep our communities safe.

Terrible news this morning. Senator Graham spent his life serving our country, first in the Air Force and later in Congress. He was committed to public service. My prayers are with Senator Graham’s family, friends, staff, and the people of South Carolina. May he rest in peace.

Republicans then gave a big tax break to millionaires and billionaires, so now millions of Americans can’t afford the health care they depend on. (3/3)

Happy Fourth of July, New Mexico! 🇺🇸 As we celebrate 250 years of independence, let's remember that America's story has always been one of choosing freedom over tyranny and democracy over kings. We've come too far to go back.

I have seen the devastation this cruelty has had on New Mexicans, and I am still fighting to reverse the cuts Republicans made in their Budget Betrayal.

Republicans took away health care from 3 million Americans, cut $187 billion from feeding hungry children, seniors, and veterans, and repealed $500 billion of clean energy tax credits.

I took this photo a year ago when Senate Democrats were on the floor for nearly 24 hours straight, fighting back against President Trump’s Budget Betrayal. Congressional Republicans weren’t working for the American people that day – only billionaires and large corporations.
