Energy costs are rising while the temperature is dropping & Trump is sitting on $4B in LIHEAP aid to help vulnerable families afford their utility bills. Led 30 bipartisan Sens. in urging Trump Admin to release LIHEAP funds now!
Trump’s ad hoc tariffs are irresponsible, ineffective, & costing you money. The Trump Admin must stop raising prices on Americans & reverse course.
Pres. Trump’s reckless tariffs are brewing up economic volatility, uncertainty, and higher prices for American businesses & consumers alike. Visited PVD’s Mills Coffee to hear how they’re dealing w/ Trump’s price hikes & discuss my bipartisan bill to eliminate Trump’s coffee tax.
Trinity Rep is a cherished institution for countless RIers, visitors, & artists alike.
Proud to support key upgrades to make @trinityrep.bsky.social's iconic Lederer Theater Center accessible to all & expand the space to create new opportunities for students, actors, & more.
At CCRI for my annual College Financial Aid workshop for RI students & their families.
Grateful for the experts who joined us last night to help answer questions & provide helpful tips and tricks for filling out FAFSA and applying for Pell grants & student loans.
Why did Trump Admin get rid of the top watchdog at the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA)?
@warren.senate.gov & I are demanding facts and answers on this suspicious firing.
Proud to present Chief Al Galinelli of Warren w/ Combat Action Ribbon he earned during the Vietnam War.
After his brave service in the U.S. Navy, Chief Galinelli spent more than five decades on the Warren Fire Dept.
Rhode Island & our nation are stronger today because of his service.
When it comes to the Epstein files, Americans deserve answers.
Pres. Trump’s evasiveness & erratic actions surrounding this case simply don’t add up.
The Trump Admin continues to try & twist the law: Even as the shutdown ends, Pres. Trump tries to withhold SNAP food aid from vulnerable children, families, & seniors.
This threatens Americans, grocery stores, & our economy.
Veterans Day is a time for unity & respect. We remember, salute, and share our thanks for the brave men & women in RI and across the nation who have served our country & sacrificed so much to preserve and protect the freedoms we hold dear.
I am a no on the CR agreement. I respect my colleagues on both sides, but the American people don’t deserve a preventable increase in health care costs.
Pres. Trump has a choice: Let kids go to bed hungry & seniors undernourished.
Or, instead of fighting court orders, he should listen to the American people, follow their example, and help prevent our neighbors in need from going hungry.
When it comes to health care, people want affordable options & choices that fit their needs. Congress needs to listen to the American people & help save health care!

@pelosi.house.gov's strong conviction, steely resolve, & principled leadership helped her achieve an incredible record, from the ACA to Wall Street reform & ARPA. As a trailblazer & dedicated public servant, she has helped make America a better place for all.
Patricia Raub was a titan for community libraries. As a @9librariespvd.bsky.social founder, Patricia brought support & connection to countless RIers.
Her legacy will live on in the communities and libraries she lifted up, loved, & fought for.
We were saddened to learn of the passing of Patricia Raub following a period of illness. Patricia, one of the “Founders” of CLPVD, helped save our neighborhood libraries from closure. We will miss her - and remain forever in her debt. #PVD #LibrarySky https://loom.ly/c68t1FI
Thanks to @fitzprov.bsky.social for having me on @globeri.bsky.social’s #RIReport podcast to discuss my recent speech on the Senate floor warning about Pres. Trump’s dangerous politicization of the U.S. military.
Republicans’ refusal to fix Pres. Trump’s health care crisis means thousands of RIers are at risk of losing health insurance & thousands more will pay double for the same plan they have now.
@democrats.senate.gov have a solution to lower your costs & reopen the gov’t.
Hearing from RIers like Jeff who are facing sticker shock due to Trump’s health care increases & Republican refusal to help lower costs.
Congress must work together to re-open the federal gov’t & save health care.
