Republicans rammed through another partisan bill that does nothing to lower costs for Americans. They're giving billions of dollars to ICE and CBP without a single cent to make health care, energy or food more affordable. Republicans clearly have their priorities backwards.
Republicans rammed through their $70 billion bill to fund President Trump’s immigration crackdown through the remainder of his term, after beating back bipartisan efforts to add language killing his plan to create a payout fund.
The public clearly opposes this war because it is driving up costs at the gas pump, the grocery store, and in housing and energy prices. That has real ramifications. People are unhappy because they thought this president was running to address affordability.
When costs are up across the board, we need to do everything possible to address the shortage of affordable housing that Americans are facing. I’m urging HUD to take commonsense steps that will speed up the construction of new affordable housing where it’s needed most.
Diabetes is the most expensive chronic condition to manage, and too many are struggling to afford the insulin they need. We must act now to cap insulin at just $35 a month to ease this burden for millions of families. My INSULIN Act would do just that.
Happy 603 Day! There’s truly no state as great as ours, from beautiful mountains and rivers to our coast and cities. Apples and pumpkins in the fall and maple syrup in the spring, NH is the best place to live and work! Let’s take a moment today to appreciate all that makes our state so special.
There is still no endgame for the war in Iran and American people are paying the price—at the grocery store and at the gas pump. Yet, President Trump doesn't seem to be paying much attention to the affordability concerns of the American people.
President Trump promised to lower prices for Americans struggling with high costs, but we’ve seen just the opposite. From tariffs to his war in Iran, the President is driving grocery costs sky-high, and unfortunately, the worst may be yet to come. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
Starting a life in New Hampshire has become out of reach for far too many young families. With costs rising across the board under this Administration, I’m working hard to ensure all those who want to live in our great state can afford to do so. www.nhpr.org/nh-news/2026...
Women in our military give everything to defend our nation and protect liberty abroad. It is critical that they have the freedom to make health decisions about their own body. We must keep fighting to protect reproductive care for our nation’s service members.
We must cap insulin costs at $35 to provide real financial relief to millions of families.   My INSULIN Act would do just that. With 18 bipartisan supporters and counting, this bill has significant momentum.   Let's get it passed.
It was one of my proudest moments as Governor to establish the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, where today we honored the service members who fought and died protecting this nation. Remembering their sacrifice is one way we can ensure their memory lives on.
From reckless tariffs to insulting rhetoric, the Trump Administration is pushing visitors away from New Hampshire. Amid these headwinds, I spoke with local business leaders earlier today about how my work in Washington can support this key sector of our state’s economy.
This legislation was always a solution in search of a problem and has already led to eligible voters being turned away in recent elections. This ruling is a win for voters in NH. We should encourage voting, not create unnecessary red-tape and hurdles. www.nhpr.org/nh-news/2026...
ICYMI: I've fought to ensure New Hampshire's drinking water is clean, safe and PFAS-free. I was proud to see critical funding that I secured in the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law released last week to help communities and private well owners address PFAS contamination.
With average ACA premiums spiking and deductibles rising, it’s no surprise health care affordability remains a top concern across the country. By capping insulin at $35 a month, my INSULIN Act would lower costs for Americans living with diabetes. www.kff.org/affordable-c...
With rising housing costs a top concern in our state, I'm doing everything I can to help people afford a home. Manufactured homes are a critical source of affordable housing in NH, and I'm working to protect these residents from predatory rent hikes. www.wmur.com/article/jean...
