Just a reminder that — in the middle of a shutdown — House Republicans are on a paid vacation solely to avoid releasing the Epstein files and lowering your health care costs.

Trump is extorting his own Justice Department for $230 million in taxpayer funds.
He refuses to open the government or lower health care costs — but he's eager to steal YOUR money to enrich himself.
Unprecedented, unfathomable corruption.
Federal workers aren’t getting paid, but of course Kristi Noem gets two private jets costing taxpayers $172 million.
Nothing new from the people who are also sending $40 billion to Argentina while refusing to fund our own government. Shameful.
Maria Greeley is a U.S. citizen who was detained by ICE and told her passport “isn’t real” and that she “doesn’t look like” her last name.
What do they think an American should look like?
This racial profiling happens every day under Trump’s lawless regime. It’s un-American.
It’s now been a month since we learned Trump’s team shut down an investigation into Tom Homan taking a $50K bribe — and we haven't seen an ounce of transparency or accountability.
Where did Tom stash the cash? What is he hiding? Americans deserve to know.
Trump and his cronies say they want to take down MS-13, but behind closed doors they're conspiring with Bukele to hide evidence of his government's collusion with MS-13—all so he can imprison individuals disappeared from the US in violation of their due process rights.
Shameful.
Kings and dictators thrive when everyday people stay silent and look the other way.
Yesterday, millions of Americans — including these fired-up Marylanders in Towson — stood up and said:
We will not be silent. We will not look away. NO KINGS.
Trump and his cronies spread all sorts of lies about yesterday's No Kings Day protests.
I'll tell you what I saw from these folks in Columbia and throughout Maryland — Americans of all ages gathering peacefully to deliver a simple message: In America, we don't bow down to kings.
Today in North Bethesda, across Maryland, and all over the country, millions of patriots are standing up to send a clear message to this lawless president:
You are not a king. And we will NEVER submit to kings or dictators in America.
Today I kicked off No Kings Day with hundreds of fired up patriots at NIH who are standing up to this lawless president.
Together we said NO to his attacks on public health.
NO to his assault on our Constitution.
NO to kings in America.
And YES to standing up for our democracy.
Trump's agents have been snatching people off the streets without due process — and over 170 US citizens have been caught in the mix. Outrageous and unacceptable. The lawlessness must end.
Trump and his cronies have spread desperate lies about No Kings Day — calling peaceful participants "terrorists" and "criminals."
You know why? Because they want us to shut up and go away. That's how kings and dictators win. But we won't let them.
See you tomorrow. NO KINGS.
There's growing momentum among universities who refuse to bend the knee to Trump's authoritarianism. Glad to see these institutions stand for what's right — we need EVERY college and university to do the same.
Bullies and dictators thrive on appeasement.
Our message is clear: we're here and ready for whenever Donald Trump wants to come to the table to reopen the government and prevent a health care crisis in America.
It's time for him and his lackeys in Congress to join us.
A judge just confirmed what has been obvious: Trump's firings of federal workers are politically motivated and likely ILLEGAL. He is weaponizing his shutdown to terrorize federal workers and deprive Americans of the services they provide.
These RIFs should be permanently reversed.
Let me be clear: when Donald Trump terrorizes our federal workers, he is attacking the American people who benefit from the services they provide.
These dedicated public servants are vital to the success of our country, and I will ALWAYS have their back.
Trump is saying the quiet part out loud: he sent a $20B taxpayer-financed bailout to help his far-right buddy Milei cling to power.
Meanwhile our government is shut down, public servants aren't getting paid & we're barreling toward a Trump-made health care crisis. Sounds like Argentina First to me.
Trump said he'd focus on the “worst of the worst," but he's mostly focused on people like Melissa Tran — a MD business owner who's lived here 30 yrs and is a fixture of her community.
Cruel.
I salute all who fought for her release. After months in ICE detention, she's finally home.
Trump and his cronies have been attacking our dedicated public servants from Day 1 — and now they're weaponizing Trump's shutdown to illegally fire more federal workers. We won't stand for it.
Tune in as my colleagues and I discuss how we're fighting back:
This shouldn’t be a close call. It’s vital that the media stand up for a free press and not be gagged by the lawless Trump administration. Everyone must stand for freedom.
