The threats to HBCUs across the country yesterday are the latest instances of hate and terror in a country that is spiritually broken. These threats must be taken seriously and investigated by the DOJ immediately. The cycle of hate and violence must be stopped.
I’ll never forget where I was 24 years ago when an act of terror claimed the lives of 2,996 souls and changed America forever. As we remember those we lost today, I’m praying for their souls, their loved ones, and our entire country. Never forget.
I got the President's Fed nominee to agree that it's critical to keep the Fed independent from politics, yet he REFUSED to denounce the President trying to rig interest rates. If these people get their way, they are going to do incredible damage to our economy.
Tragedy struck a year ago today at Apalachee High School. I’m thinking of the victims, their families, and the entire community today as we remember the tragic loss. I will never stop working to end gun violence and make our schools and communities safe for every child.
