We must continue to aggressively speak up to protect our elections. This administration knows how deeply unpopular they are, and they’re not going to give up on making it harder to vote.

Standing back and just hoping AI companies do the right thing is irresponsible.
Let’s pass AI regulation NOW.
It’s time for us to take real steps towards universal health care. I have a plan to get us there. Read about it in today’s Richmond Times-Dispatch:

This administration’s failed war of choice makes your housing, gas, and groceries more expensive.

NEW: We need to take steps towards universal health care coverage NOW.
Today, I’m introducing my Health CARE Act, legislation that would reverse the devastating impacts of HR. 1, implement a low-cost public health insurance option, and permanently expand ACA tax credits.
Completely heartbreaking. We owe our servicemembers so much more than these forever wars.
I just fought on the Senate floor to try and overturn Trump’s union-busting executive orders that targeted hard-working federal employees. Republicans blocked it.
Months in and this war of choice rages on – sending diesel prices to new record highs.
Just like Trump’s tariffs, all of those extra costs are going to be passed along directly to us in the form of higher prices at the grocery store & on everything we buy.
This administration has a clear pattern – skim funds, cut programs, and raise costs for everyday Americans… while they get everything they need and more.
Something is deeply wrong when Trump’s net worth is skyrocketing but families across the country can’t afford gas, groceries, and health care.
Donald Trump’s culture of open corruption is leaving Americans out to dry while he and his friends get rich.
Half of Virginia families with kids are food insecure. Why does Donald Trump care more about his ballroom?
The Iran War has cost at least $43 billion. How much could we do to lower costs, invest in schools, or work towards ending child poverty with that money instead?
Trump cries “free speech” and turns around and throws entire networks out of the White House.
He promises no new wars and starts a brutal one in Iran.
He promises lower prices and we get spiking gas costs.
Half of Virginia families with kids are food insecure.
Trump’s slashing of SNAP and his cost-spiking war are having unconscionable impacts on our kids.
As election day gets closer, Trump is trying to hide his failures from the press. The networks are refusing to go along with it.
The president is scared because he knows the American people are going to hold him accountable for his skyrocketing costs and forever war.
Every day for the past 15 days, diesel prices in Virginia have reached a new record high.
That’s devastating for farmers across the Commonwealth.
And the costs get passed along to you on everything you buy.
President Trump is fighting AI regulation while his own financial interests are increasingly tied to the industry.
Trump is more focused on profiting off the presidency than he is on making sure we have basic guardrails to protect Americans from AI’s risks.
Trump said his war with Iran would last 6 weeks. More than 6 months later, the war is still waging, and Americans have paid an extra $100 billion for gas and diesel and at least another $60 billion for essentials like groceries and mortgages.
The ballroom. The Kennedy Center. The arch.
If only Trump cared about lowering costs for the American people as much as he cared about memorializing his own ego.
