Donald Trump sold middle-class Americans a lie to get elected. 📉He's cratering the stock market 📈Egg prices are skyrocketing 🛒His blanket tariffs will raise everyday costs The only winners in Trump's economy are billionaires. It's BS.

Our nation’s veterans deserve respect — but right now this Administration is treating them with anything but that. Thanks to @duckworth.senate.gov and @kim.senate.gov for introducing legislation to ensure that veterans who had jobs in the federal government can continue to serve.
BREAKING: Today, @kim.senate.gov and I are introducing the Protect Veteran Jobs Act that would reinstate the thousands of Veterans fired in Trump and Elon Musk’s mass layoffs. The message of our bill is simple: Give our heroes their jobs back.
Bloody Sunday is a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by John Lewis and hundreds of brave Americans who risked everything on the Edmund Pettus Bridge to secure the right to vote for all—regardless of skin color. Their courage paved the way—it’s on us to protect the rights they bled for.
Protestors, led by John Lewis, march across the Edmund Pettus bridge on what became known as Bloody Sunday.
VA Secretary Collins fired Veteran Crisis Line workers—and then lied about it. The complete lack of transparency around these mass layoffs at the VA is outrageous. It's time Trump and Collins show us the receipts— And reveal the true extent of the damage done to our Veterans.
In Letter Accusing VA Secretary of 'Cover-Up,' Democrats Demand Answers on DOGE-Led VA Firings
Trump’s all-out assault on the VA is a complete betrayal of our Veterans. Mark my word. This is Republicans' plan all along— Gut the VA, then push to privatize the Department so they can fund tax cuts for billionaires. And our heroes will pay the price. apnews.com/article/vete...
Trump tried to skip paying American-run orgs millions of dollars for the work they did *before* his stop work order at USAID. As a result, many considered bankruptcy. That's just wrong. I called on the Admin to reimburse these orgs immediately. Glad the Supreme Court agrees.
Supreme Court rejects Trump’s request to keep billions in foreign aid frozen
“Egg prices are out of control,” Trump says. Meanwhile, he’s been too busy gutting cancer research, firing Veterans and enacting sweeping tariffs that will make groceries even more expensive.
Let’s be clear: Trump’s sweeping tariffs will unleash economic chaos— With HIGHER prices and FEWER jobs available. Welcome to Trump's economy, America. Where he ships jobs overseas with one hand and hurts your wallet with the other. All while working to carve out tax cuts for billionaires.
A shameful abandonment of Ukraine, our interests and fundamental American values. This decision won’t make our country safer. It will embolden Putin and our adversaries while weakening our relationships with democratic partners. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
Only Donald Trump would say he's taking "good care" of our Veterans and admit he's firing thousands of them all in the same breath. As shameless as it gets.
Reporter: Veterans make up 30% of the federal workforce? Are you tracking how many veterans have been fired so far? Trump: Yes we are. We take good care of our veterans
Our pressure campaign is working‼️ Trump's VA was ready to cut hundreds of contracts that help our Veterans—from cancer care, disability ratings and more. But because we got loud and exposed their chaos, they're thinking twice. We can't stop here. We can't back down, ever.
Associated Press: VA pauses billions in cuts lauded by Musk as lawmakers and veterans decry loss of critical care.
