Good news — The Columbia River Clean-Up Act passed through the Transportation & Infrastructure Committee today! This is a huge step in making sure our community partners have federal funding and resources to clean-up pollution in the Columbia River Basin.
1/ ICYMI: The Roseburg State Veterans Home has repeatedly been overlooked and last week, I testified before the Veterans Affairs Committee to make it CLEAR that rural veterans cannot wait any longer for critical care that is rightfully theirs.
If you’re wondering - I am not surprised by today’s news of the oil tanker being seized off of Venezuela’s coast.
I didn't know 'America First' meant sending our kids to die for oil in another foreign war.    President Trump's strikes in the Caribbean & his impending war in Venezuela are illegal without a vote by Congress. We the People deserve a say in if our kids get sent to die in a repeat of the Iraq War.
