4/ We’ll keep fighting to protect access to reproductive health care including abortion and won’t stop until we’ve overturned this callous and ill-considered decision.

3/ Abortion is health care and healthcare decisions should be made between a patient and their medical practitioner. Period. The majority of Americans agree.
2/ Maternal and infant mortality rates have skyrocketed, the “pro-life” majority in Congress are moving to take food out of the mouths of pregnant women and hungry children and immigrant children are being held in prison camps. None of that is “pro-life”.
1/ Four years ago today, Roe v. Wade was overturned, pushed by groups who claimed to be protecting women and children.🧵⬇️
Thank you to the Oregonians that tuned in for my Facebook live last night with Chief Deputy Medema. It's important to discuss what we can do as a community to prevent wildfires and stay safe this season. Check out the link below for more wildfire resources and the town hall recording.
I had a great time helping at Habitat For Humanity’s Volunteer Day in Eugene! We talked about their housing projects while spreading mulch on flower beds. ReStore sells home goods at a low cost keeping materials out of our waste stream and supporting their mission to build more affordable housing.
We’re live on Facebook and YouTube now!
Join me and Chief Travis Medema from the Oregon Fire Marshal's Office on Monday for a Facebook Live conversation on wildfire prevention. We'll answer your questions and talk about how we can work together to prevent wildfires this season. RSVP for event reminders!

No one gets to decide who is “American” enough. On World Refugee Day, we recognize the refugees who have overcome unimaginable challenges and gone on to strengthen our communities, economy and democracy. America is at its best when we live up to our promise of freedom, dignity and opportunity.
Over 160 years ago the Emancipation Proclamation was read to the last enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas. Today we celebrate that hard-won freedom and continue the fight for justice and equality. Happy Juneteenth!
We need to work to improve the affordability of healthcare, not make it harder to deliver quality patient care.
@hhsofficial.bsky.social abruptly cancelled research being done in Coos County to improve worker and patient safety. I'm demanding answers from Secretary Kennedy and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to understand the impacts on care at Southern Coos Hospital.

Americans everywhere are feeling the impacts of the war in Iran. Gas, food and electricity prices have skyrocketed. And where is the Administration’s focus? On the $600 million ballroom that is being paid for by your taxpayer dollars.
2/ We’ve got a lot of delayed maintenance needs in Oregon that have not been funded so I’m looking forward to moving this through @naturalresources.bsky.social. Our future generations deserve to enjoy our public lands.
1/ $1.9 billion. That’s how much the Great American Outdoors Act 250 would invest in stewarding our national parks, public land and Bureau of Indian Education facilities.
2/ At a time when reproductive rights are under attack, I stand by Planned Parenthood and will continue to fight for healthcare access for all.
1/ Thank you to @ppaoregon.bsky.social for stopping by and sharing how Planned Parenthood supports our communities with access to birth control, STI testing and cancer screening.
In 2026 the United States has seen 182 mass shootings. Behind gun violence statistics are people, families and communities.
This National Gun Violence Awareness Month, we honor victims, support survivors and continue to work together to pass common-sense gun safety legislation.
Americans deserves access to decent, affordable and safe housing. I’m reintroducing the DASH Act, with @wyden.senate.gov & @carbajal.house.gov, that will tackle homelessness and the affordability crisis by expanding housing choice vouchers, low-and middle-income housing tax credits & renter support.
