As union members we know worker intimidation from a mile away, it's the same old, tired playbook of tricks. But when they come for one of us, they come for all of us.
Thank you to AFGE for leading the charge against this administration's unconstitutional worker intimidation tactics. #UnionStrong

The world's richest man had the gall to tell working people that they might have to suffer in the name of govt efficiency and then broke the programs they rely on.
Let's be clear, we know what suffering is like more than Elon ever will. But we won't suffer so he can give himself another tax break.
Let’s be clear, no Democrat is against govt efficiency. We are against weaponizing that search against working people and their earned benefits.
Instead, why don’t we start addressing corruption and waste with the fattest cats of them all? Military contractors who rip off taxpayers at the DoD.
Last night, I joined Chris Cuomo to talk about why I'm leaving the DOGE Caucus. This Caucus was meant to advise on efficiencies and ensure the process was accountable to the American people, but Musk’s unilateral and unconstitutional actions have made the Caucus' work irrelevant.
I was one of 3 Democrats to join the DOGE Caucus. I joined to be a voice for working people and their interests. But it is impossible to fix the system when Elon Musk is actively breaking it, so I have made the decision to leave. My full statement below ⬇️

We’ve filed an emergency lawsuit to stop Musk’s DOGE from unlawfully accessing the Department of Labor’s systems and information.
Elon Musk has NO business raiding the Department of Labor to obtain the sensitive personal information of working people. aflcio.org/press/releas...
Elon Musk’s purge of the federal government is designed to destroy whatever remains of workers’ protections in this country. Why else would they target the Department of Labor, the agency that creates and helps to enforce workplace safety laws and fights to prevent wage theft?
Hope this helps 👍!
We hear you and we are fighting for you. But we NEED you to keep up the pressure on Republican offices too. Make them hear you so that they know if they stay silent as Elon Musk destroys our government, you will make them pay at the ballot box.

32 years ago, the Family and Medical Leave Act was signed into law, mandating employers provide job-protected family and medical leave to employees. It was an important step, but we are well past-due for an improvement – all workers in America deserve to have protected and PAID leave.
The history of this country was shaped by Rosa Parks' bravery and the solidarity it inspired in millions of Americans across the nation. Today, on her birthday, may her memory be a reminder of the strength we have to fight back, and the power we hold when we do it together. #RestInPower
Ending birthright citizenship? Ended. Funding freeze? Flopped. Tariffs? Tanked.
We made our voices heard - but this is no time to stop. The real dangers are still here: Elon Musk just got access to our private info and the entire govt’s payment system. Refocus, reengage, and let’s keep fighting.
Elon Musk's reported data breach at the Treasury Dept. is wrong and puts your personal info, including your Social Security numbers, at risk. As we fight to prevent him from having access, I urge each of you to lock down your social security numbers and print out your benefit pages.
We can’t just get caught in the headlines, we have to call out every illegal, unconstitutional and dangerous act this administration takes.
Don’t just focus on the spotlight, keep your eyes on what they’re trying to do in the shadows.
Putting up tariffs without increasing domestic investments is just bad policy.
This #TrumpTax will increase the cost of basic goods at the grocery store like tomatoes, avocados and peppers.

. @uaw.org members fought for and won a historic contract that keeps delivering. GM workers are getting record profit-sharing checks. They make the company’s success possible! This is why unions matter.
Before coming to Congress I spent 25 years working on the international trade of U.S. goods.
Tariffs are a tool that must be used with extreme precision and not as a blunt object. These tariffs will raise prices for all Americans. This is just a #TrumpTax.
Today in 1940, the first Social Security check was issued.
These are not ENTITLEMENTS; these are EARNED benefits for hardworking Americans. I came to Congress to fight to keep that promise.
