This is illegal.   President Trump is making it easier for Elon Musk and his billionaire friends to exploit consumers and small businesses by firing those who protect Americans from unfair and deceptive practices.   He is willing to break the law to get rid of anyone who stands in his way.
Medicaid covers 33% of people in NM. Republicans want to rip Medicaid away from children & families to fund a tax scam for their rich friends.   It was a privilege to meet with El Centro Family Health to discuss how we can work together to ensure New Mexicans have access to affordable, quality care.
It was a privilege to celebrate the completion of two critical water infrastructure projects in rural Doña Ana County today. Water is life, and we can’t afford to waste a single drop. I was proud to secure the funding to make these projects possible.
This is blatantly disrespectful. Navajo Code Talkers were vital to winning WWII, using an unbreakable code that saved countless lives. Erasing their legacy is a dishonor to these heroes and their families.    Their legacy deserves to be remembered and honored.
Let me be clear: I will always fight to protect New Mexicans’ Medicaid and Social Security from Republican attacks.   Thank you for having me, Mary Esther Gonzales Senior Center. Our seniors deserve better.
It was an honor to meet with folks at Roadrunner Foodbank today to learn more about the needs of our food banks, farmers, producers, and stakeholders. I will continue to fight to protect the programs that feed New Mexico’s children and families.
I discussed Dr. Oz’s nomination to lead the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on MSNBC, as well as the measles outbreak in New Mexico and the repeated failure of the Trump administration to take action.
The majority of Americans don’t like what Trump is doing with our economy. Costs are up which is hurting New Mexican families’ bank accounts. They need a leader in the White House to tackle rising prices.
Raúl Grijalva was a dear friend and a powerful advocate for justice and positive change in our country. My prayers are with his wife, Ramona, his family, and all those fortunate enough to have known him. Who he was as a person and a legislator will continue to inspire and guide us.
Measles vaccines are proven to be safe and effective. It's essential that folks get vaccinated and that the Trump administration acts quickly to combat the ongoing measles outbreak. I called on Secretary Kennedy to start a national vaccination campaign to protect our community from measles.
This funding bill is a disservice to New Mexico, with billions of dollars on the line that will only serve to expand Elon Musk and President Trump’s unchecked power. Read my full statement with @senatorheinrich.bsky.social below:
