Life is becoming more difficult and more expensive for families in New Mexico and across the country. Americans aren’t asking for a blank check to fund President Trump and Stephen Miller’s out-of-control ICE and CBP. They’re asking for lower prices. This is a total betrayal.

Hardworking Nevada families are being squeezed by the high costs of groceries. Senate Democrats just forced a vote on @lujan.senate.gov’s provision to help lower families’ grocery bills and reverse Republicans’ cruel cuts to food assistance programs. But Senate Republicans shamefully blocked it.

Not only are Republicans trying to pass a budget resolution that does nothing to make things more affordable for Americans, they’ve also blocked my amendment to feed children, seniors, and veterans.

@democrats.senate.gov just forced ANOTHER vote to end President Trump's illegal war that the American people never asked for. Republicans fell in line with President Trump AGAIN. It's long past time for Republicans to join us, stand up to Donald Trump, and end this reckless war.

Communities of the Chama Valley have cared for this land and water for generations. President Trump thinks he can come in and sell off our public lands to the highest bidder for uranium mining, but he’s wrong. There is only one Chama – it is our sacred responsibility to protect it.

I am heartbroken for my friend and colleague, Senator Warner, and the loss of his daughter, Madison. I am praying for him, Lisa, and their entire family as they face this profound loss.

Kash Patel was never fit to lead the men and women of the FBI. He’s abused his power for personal gain while using the agency to do Donald Trump’s bidding. He should step down immediately.

Trump’s Bureau of Land Management is once again trying to fast-track decisions that impact Chaco Canyon, a 1,000+ year-old sacred cultural and historical site, with an outrageously short public comment period. They think we aren’t paying attention.

It was great to have AG Raúl Torrez in the office today. We spoke about the issues that are top of mind for NMs – out-of-state legal firms who prey on NMs for financial gain, kids’ online safety, and justice for wildfire victims. We will never stop fighting to make things better for our state.
