Just heard from a constituent in Albuquerque who paid nearly $60 just to fill up his tank. Families are already stretched thin, and President Trump’s war is making things even worse at the gas pump.

DHS is facing a real crisis of accountability. Even the Republican Chairman warned Senator Mullin would set “a terrible example” for ICE and Border Patrol agents. I’m fighting to protect our rights, keep our communities safe, and hold this administration accountable. I will vote NO on Sen. Mullin.

Electric bills are skyrocketing, and families are paying the price. President Trump’s policies and his war with Iran are driving up costs, and when asked about it, he said, “If prices rise, they rise.” He’s putting Americans last and making them pay the price.

Seriously? The Trump admin just admitted they know extending this illegal war will drive up costs and hurt hardworking families trying to make ends meet, and still said that’s “the last of their concerns.” Their actions have made it clear: helping American families isn’t their priority.

Yesterday, I met with the NM Farm and Livestock Bureau to talk about how Congress can better support our farmers and ranchers. Farming is at the heart of New Mexico, and our farmers and ranchers are essential to our communities. I will always fight to make sure they have the support they need.

This week, I met with Mescalero Apache Telecom and the National Tribal Telecommunications Association to discuss how we can modernize the USF to ensure it effectively serves Tribes in New Mexico and across the country. Thank you for working every day to expand broadband access in Tribal communities.

Our state has a strong tradition of service to this country. I was blessed to welcome some of New Mexico's VFW members to my office today. Congress must make sure our veterans and their families get the care and support they deserve.

As health care costs continue to skyrocket across our country, Amador Health Center in Las Cruces is committed to delivering high-quality care to New Mexicans. I helped secure $516,000 for Amador Health Clinic to strengthen care for families in Doña Ana County and keep health services close to home.
