Trump launched this reckless war “hoping” to change the regime in Iran, “hoping” Iran would not close the Strait of Hormuz, and “hoping” gas prices would not go up. There was no plan. Hope is not a military strategy. This war is a tragic failure.
I’m grateful to the first responders in Bloomfield Hills for their swift response at Temple Israel. Houses of worship must always be places of peace and safety. Antisemitism and violence have no place in our country.
My heart is with the families of the victims of the shooting at Old Dominion University and with the entire ODU community. No student should have to fear for their safety on campus. This violence is unacceptable, and these tragedies must end.
It has been more than 200 days since I called on the Trump administration to have a plan for tariff refunds.
Now, Trump’s delay is costing $20 million per day in interest. American small businesses, workers, and consumers need their money back without delay.
My constituent, Juan David, is facing imminent deportation. The Trump administration needs to allow time for his T visa case to be processed. Removing him before he can fully pursue this relief is unconscionable.
I am relieved about the release of the 14-year-old girl picked up by federal agents yesterday. I will continue to do everything I can to support her case. Her safety and wellbeing need to be ensured.
Classic Trump. Faced with a tragic US mistake that cost the lives of 168 children in Iran, Trump, against all evidence, blames Iran. I was proud to join my Democratic colleagues in writing to Trump to demand the truth. Trump must own up to this catastrophe now.
Trump is doubling down on his illegal tariff taxes and putting even more pain on Main Street. American small businesses, workers, and families can’t wait for another court decision. We must pass the Small Business Liberation 2.0 Act and stop Trump's tariff madness.
Offshore wind means local union jobs, economic wins for Massachusetts communities, and cheap clean power that protects us from global oil price shocks. New Bedford is showing how to get it done—now Trump needs to back off his unlawful attacks so we can keep building.
Americans are paying for this war at the pump. Americans are paying for this war with their lives. Now Trump and Republicans are asking Americans to foot the bill for more of this war with their tax dollars. No. No more funding for this reckless war.
Gas prices are soaring at home, but instead of ending his illegal and reckless war abroad, Trump is easing sanctions on Russia to sell more oil. Trump’s war is now benefitting his buddy Putin, who is helping Iran. And more money for Putin will hurt Ukraine. What a disaster.
