Climate change supercharges a host of deadly threats: extreme heat waves and weather disasters, toxic air pollution, and more. Our resolution urges the Trump administration to fight this public health crisis and strengthen our health system against climate change—not slash it.
The public deserves transparency—not backroom deals. That’s why @lujan.senate.gov and I are calling on the FCC to hold a public vote on the Paramount-Skydance merger.
Prime Day and every day, Amazon makes millions in profits off the backs of workers who don’t make enough to pay for food or health care. Bezos gets richer while workers get hurt.
Workers > billionaires. Solidarity > sales.
Fue todo un gusto haber tenido una conversación con El Planeta para discutir mis esfuerzos para apoyar y levantar a la comunidad Latinoamericana en Massachusetts y en todo el país, especialmente durante estos tiempos difíciles.

It was a joy to sit down with El Planeta to discuss my efforts to support and uplift the Latin American community in Massachusetts and across the country, especially during these challenging times.

Black women earn just 66 cents for every dollar earned by white men. This is a systemic failure.
It’s a theft of labor, time, and dignity--stolen for generations. Pay Black women what they are owed. No more delays. No more excuses.
Here are some facts:
1. In the past week, climate-fueled floods killed more than 100 people in Texas.
2. The National Weather Service at NOAA has been under relentless attack by the Trump admin.
3. I asked Trump's NOAA nominee if he supports cuts to its budget. He said yes.
The Trump administration’s love affair with coal is just like the Big Ugly Bill the Republicans just passed: If it hikes your energy bill, puts your health at risk, and would be modern in the 1800s, they’re going to fight for it at all costs.
Completely unacceptable. Trump’s intentional denial and mismanagement has and will cost lives.
When a storm hits, an alert from public media station may be the only warning rural communities get. Cutting this community resource puts lives at risk.
Tonight, I made it clear: public media is a lifeline—we must fund it, not gut it.
Today on the floor, I made it clear: voting to confirm Bill Briggs as Deputy Administrator of the SBA means putting Trump’s interests ahead of small businesses. The SBA needs a leader who stands with entrepreneurs and employees, not Wall Street.

Trump before the election: “I know President Putin very well” and I will end the war in Ukraine on “day one.”
Trump now: Putin is “very nice to us all the time, but it turns out to be meaningless.”
So which is it?
Measles outbreaks. Medicaid cuts. Hospitals closing. Republicans are killing people.
Trump promised 90 deals in 90 days—so far he’s delivered countless rants and endless delays. Small businesses shouldn’t need a Truth Social account to figure out how much they’ll be paying in tariffs in three weeks.
I called out Trump's nominee to head up our weather and ocean agency after he told me he would back Trump in slashing @noaa.gov’s budget—even as our nation reels from climate disasters. Cuts to staff and resources put lives at risk. We need investment in science, not sabotage.
On July 9th, 1868, the 14th Amendment was ratified. As President Trump attempts to revoke birthright citizenship, may today be a reminder that every individual born or naturalized in the United States is a citizen and entitled to equal protection under the law.
I’m hiring self-motivated and eager interns for fall 2025 in my Boston office. BIPOC, LGBTQ+, working class, and other underrepresented candidates with Massachusetts ties are encouraged to apply. Applications due Friday, August 8th.
