Tomorrow, the Senate will vote to either save the ACA tax credits or not. This will determine if premiums will skyrocket for millions of Americans. Pay attention to see if Republicans vote to help or hurt regular Americans.
The ten states where health care premiums are jumping by the highest percentage are all Republican states. Every single one. This is a MAGA health care hike--and yet Senate Republicans aren't willing to lift a finger to help their own constituents.
Senate Republicans want to pass a backdoor abortion ban through the ACA by blocking PRIVATE insurance from covering abortion care. This is not about Hyde—it's an unprecedented NEW attack on abortion access. Not on my watch.
This week, Senate Republicans gave LIFETIME judicial appointments to more anti-abortion fanatics who support fetal personhood—the dangerous idea that a fetus should have the same rights as a pregnant woman. They're hoping you don't notice. I won’t let this fly under the radar.
In moving a program from the Department of Education to the Department of Labor, we're now PAYING another department $1 million in additional taxpayer funds. And now schools will have to deal with TWO federal agencies, instead of one. Raising costs and increasing bureaucracy.
Premiums are set to skyrocket. It's not some thought exercise. The MAGA health care hike is a reality that millions are facing in this country right now. And unless Republicans join us, higher premium costs for millions of American families will be locked in for good.
I told Trump's trade ambassador that Trump's insults and trade war have driven away Canadian visitors and dealt a serious blow to Washington state's economy. There is quite simply NO reason for this. We should not be picking fights with our close friends and allies. 🇺🇸🇨🇦
If Trump wasn't wrecking the economy with his stupid tariffs, farmers wouldn't need a bailout in the first place. Oh and what's the GOP plan for all the farmers who get health care through the ACA whose premiums are skyrocketing? Right, there is NO PLAN.
Trump has pardoned huge amounts of fraud and truly heinous crimes. In particular, he's pardoned more corrupt elected officials than any other President, and it's not particularly close. This President is a crook through and through.
A few weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I won’t lie—it's been incredibly challenging for me and my family. Now, I’m embarking on a journey to answer the questions so many of us face when it comes to providing care for our loved ones. I hope you’ll join me.
When it comes to saving the ACA tax credits, we are way past the deadline—we are in overtime. Republicans need to understand that it’s literally NOW or NEVER to stop the premium hikes families face next year. If they refuse by running out the clock, they're choosing NEVER.
DHS is saying this is a lie. My response? They have no credibility. This is not what I'm hearing from the community. This spokesperson is a miserable propagandist and proven liar, so there's no reason for anyone to believe her. I want proof that Jose is unharmed & being treated with basic dignity.
You can hear Jose scream in excruciating pain as an ICE vehicle runs over his foot while he's being detained. His family says Jose is a good man, with no criminal record, who works in roofing. He needs to be released from detention to receive appropriate medical care.
