Linda McMahon & Trump are wrecking the Department of Education. Why? So we can throw another half-TRILLION dollars at the Pentagon?
Maybe I'm biased as a former preschool teacher, but I think investing in our kids is more important than shoveling money at defense contractors.

Trump: "We have enough nuclear weapons to blow up the world 150 times."
But I guess that's not enough because he wants $7 billion MORE for nuclear weapons.
Because that's what families are begging for: Less affordable housing, so Trump can blow up the world 151 times.
In the face of the Trump administration's attacks on our National Parks, I'm working to protect and preserve 126,500 acres of land in the Olympic National Forest.
Protect our public lands.
Let’s pass my Wild Olympics bill. 🌲
On April 1st, Speaker Johnson vowed to fund DHS "in the coming days."
Must have been an April Fools’ joke because INSTEAD, Johnson has extended the shutdown for FOUR WEEKS and counting.
So if Speaker Johnson is looking for someone to blame for the shutdown, get him a mirror.
What a stupid waste of taxpayer money. No.
Trump is trying to crush our First Amendment rights.
I refuse to live in a country where a crooked President can illegally use the force of the federal government to push a talk show host off the air.
Time to speak up and protect free speech in America.
Linda McMahon fired half the staff at the Office for Civil Rights—the people who handle cases of sexual harassment & assault against students.
Know how many cases have been resolved since then?
Neither did she. But you'd think the Secretary of Education could count to ZERO.
Trump wants to boost war spending a whopping half a TRILLION dollars.
Here's what that could fund instead:
REMINDER: The Senate unanimously passed a bill to fund DHS 31 days ago. We passed it unanimously AGAIN 25 days ago.
But instead of ending the DHS shutdown and funding agencies like TSA & the Secret Service, Speaker Johnson has dragged his feet & failed to put it up for a vote.
The Trump administration cancelled major energy projects across 16 states just because they voted for Kamala Harris and not Trump.
Their own lawyers even admitted they targeted blue states. I called Trump’s Energy Secretary out on it. Our states pay taxes & I won’t stand for this kind of garbage.
There is no justification for political violence ever. It’s really that simple.
I’m glad everyone who attended Saturday’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner is unharmed. I’m especially grateful to the brave Secret Service agents and U.S. Capitol Police who kept everyone safe.
Moms in Seattle aren't up at night wondering if ICE has enough money to break car windows and deport veterans.
They're worried about rent, groceries, and child care.
Yet, this week, in the middle of the night, Republicans raced to unlock $70 billion for ICE and did NOTHING to help lower costs.
We need a budget that PROTECTS OUR PUBLIC LANDS. Trump is planning to cut 3,000 National Park staff–and this is after a quarter of staff were pushed out ALREADY.
I told Secretary Burgum that’s a recipe for disaster and I’ll be throwing Trump’s budget right in the trash and writing a new one.
This President tells us every day that no election is free and fair unless HE wins.
Well, that's not how it works in America, no matter how many tantrums he throws.
Trump lost the 2020 election. That will never change and I have zero intention of letting him rewrite history.
Gas prices and energy prices are SURGING. Trump wants to totally defund programs that help drive down costs.
Meanwhile, his Energy Secretary has NO solution to bring down gas prices other than "it's Biden's fault."
I guess I missed the part where Joe Biden declared war on Iran.
What a shameless grift. The President's son bragging about a $24 million Pentagon contract like it's a game show prize.
Meanwhile, Trump is demanding a $1.5 TRILLION war budget so defense contractors get rich while you pay at the pump for his war with Iran.
Obscene corruption.
The "woke" research grants RFK Jr. cut at NIH?
Millions of dollars to research maternal health, vaccines, Alzheimer's, and cancer.
How is researching cancer woke? No one voted for this.
When people stand up and use their voice to protect the right to abortion, they win.
Glad the people of Idaho are working to stop Republican politicians from controlling women and to protect the right to essential reproductive health care.
Every Republican who voted YES to another $70 billion ICE slush fund at 3 AM last night said NO to child care.
Republicans said NO to health care. NO to helping working Americans in any way at all.
I'll be making sure everyone knows it.
RFK Jr. has repeatedly lied to our Senate committee and broken promises he made under oath. So, I entered some articles into the record that my colleagues should read.
Like, “GOP Senator Refuses to Face Reality About RFK Jr. After Being ‘Lied’ To.”
