It takes courage to stand up for what’s right — something Republicans clearly don’t have.
Kudos to my friend Jeff for doing the damn thing!
This is really what it comes down to.
I'm holding the Senate floor to say HELL NO to Trump destroying our We the People government.

My friend @merkley.senate.gov is holding the Senate floor all night to sound the alarm on Trump’s lawless regime.
Proud to stand with him in this fight and in the U.S. Senate. There can be no business as usual.
This is really what it comes down to.
I'm holding the Senate floor to say HELL NO to Trump destroying our We the People government.

TUNE IN: I’m holding the Senate floor to protest Trump’s grave threats to democracy. We cannot pretend this is normal.

Republicans are exploding the cost of YOUR health insurance.
Troops are not wanted or needed in Portland.
Let's be clear: Trump’s sole goal is to stoke violence to justify tightening his authoritarian grip.
This fight continues to protect our community.

Portlanders are protesting with joy and whimsy. The only violence is the violence the Trump Administration is trying to incite.
Portland isn’t taking the bait.
ICE is targeting our communities and denying people their basic rights, including the right to legal representation.
This is illegal, immoral, and authoritarian.
We must not let the Trump Administration get away with trampling on due process.
Republicans own this shutdown.
Here’s the Republican vision: Families lose, billionaires win.
Democrats are standing firm for a vision where families thrive and billionaires pay their fair share.
Republicans:
Gutted health care for 15 million Americans.
Slashed child nutrition benefits.
Added $30 TRILLION to the debt.
Why? Tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy.
And now they’ve shut down the government to avoid fixing THEIR MESS.
Trump wants to unleash the “full force” of the military on Portland—trying to stoke violence to justify tightening his authoritarian grip. He’s spewing lies and unleashing brutality on Portland.
Portland is responding with peace and whimsy.
House Speaker Mike Johnson directed House Republicans to flee D.C. and won’t swear in Representative-elect Grijalva because he’s terrified of releasing the Epstein files.
The American people want and deserve transparency and justice.
RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.

Jackie Merlos represents the best of Oregon. Today, she had a hearing on her immigration case. We have fought with everything we have to reunite her with her children and end Trump’s cruelty.
Republicans control the House, Senate, and White House.
They shut down the government to slash YOUR health care.
Portland protests with peace and whimsy.
