Last week, I forced a vote in the Senate to repeal Trump’s rule that would kick people out of their jobs and raise prices. Most Senate Republicans shamefully refused to stand up to Trump in order to prevent a spike in costs.
I’ll keep fighting in every way I can to protect Nevada’s workforce.

At the same time, some rural hospitals are struggling to keep their doors open because cuts to Medicaid have ripped away critical funding they rely on.
I’m working to reverse the health care crisis created by Washington Republicans so you can afford the care you need.
Washington Republicans made devastating cuts to health care, and now Nevadans are cutting back on doctor’s visits and rationing medications because prices are just too high.
This rhetoric is unacceptable from our Secretary of Defense and another example of Hegseth being absolutely unfit to lead.

Pete Hegseth has promoted Pentagon staffers who have peddled antisemitic tropes – and now, he’s tripling down on his own use of a term with a history of being weaponized against Jewish communities.
Happy International Workers Day! Today, we honor the workers and unions who drive Nevada’s economy forward and ensure families have what they need to thrive.
We owe our local law enforcement officers a great debt of gratitude for working around the clock and putting their lives on the line to protect our communities. I’ll keep working across party lines to deliver the resources and funding they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.
I call on the rest of the government to follow suit.
Working for the American people is an immense privilege, and no one should do it with the goal of lining their own pockets. I'm glad the Senate took this step to prevent Senators and staff from using insider information to make bets via prediction markets.
As we work to elevate Jewish voices this month and always, let’s use this as an antidote to stamp out antisemitism and hate across our country and around the world. Jewish communities – just like all communities – deserve celebration and recognition, not fear and intimidation.
This Jewish American Heritage Month, I’m celebrating my Jewish heritage and the many contributions Jewish Americans have made to our society.
I'm glad the House finally came to their senses and passed our bipartisan bill to make sure TSA agents and other DHS workers get their paychecks.
Speaker Johnson had the Senate's bipartisan bill to fund critical parts of the Department of Homeland Security on his desk for over a month but chose to do nothing and continue inflicting pain on the department and its personnel. 🧵
Congress votes to reopen key parts of the Department of Homeland Security after weeks of GOP infighting, sending the bill to President Trump to sign https://cnn.it/4t4KZgQ
Nevada is facing a housing affordability crisis, and we need to take more action to address it. I’m proud to have helped secure $695,000 to support efforts that connect hardworking families with affordable housing and bring opportunity to Nevada communities.
Nevadans don’t need a study to see that gas prices are out of control – every time we drive is a reminder of how expensive it is to fill up at the pump. Nevada deserves better and we need action to bring gas prices back down.
This attack is just one of many that have taken place across the UK over the last several months. While I am grateful for law enforcement's swift action and the Prime Minister's condemnation, more must be done to ensure Jewish communities are safe from violent antisemitism.
I’m horrified by the news of an antisemitic attack in Golders Green, London, a predominantly Jewish neighborhood. I’m relieved to hear the victims of this attack are in stable condition and the perpetrator has been apprehended. 🧵
Today, my team wore jeans in honor of Denim Day, which raises awareness for sexual assault and domestic violence survivors. I’m grateful for the organizations across Nevada that work to combat sexual abuse, support survivors, and ensure women have the resources they need.
This means workers with legal status will lose their work authorization because of bureaucratic delays, businesses will lose workers, and prices will go up. This reckless action won't just hurt "red states" or "blue states" – we will all pay the price.
I just forced a vote on the Senate floor to overturn a Trump rule that could kick 3.8 million workers out of their jobs. My resolution had bipartisan support, but most Senate Republicans voted it down.
