The Jewish community in Vermont and around the world concluded observance of the High Holy Day season amidst record levels of antisemitism in America. Bigotry has no place in our society. I stand alongside our Jewish friends and against antisemitism in any form.
Washington Republicans’ OBBB changed the gambling tax deduction and will force players to pay taxes on money they’ve LOST. We must reverse this unfair tax that is hurting Nevada's economy, and we’re one step closer to getting it done now that our bill has passed out of committee in the House.
My FULL HOUSE Act is about bringing fairness back to our tax code. You should never be taxed on income you never actually received. Read my full statement here:
En el Día Nacional de Enfermeros y Enfermeras Hispanos, celebramos la fuerza y las contribuciones de nuestros enfermeros y enfermeras que mantienen la salud de nuestras comunidades.  Ustedes son una parte esencial de nuestro sistema de salud. ¡Gracias por su trabajo!
On National Hispanic Nurses Day, we celebrate the strength and contributions of Latino and Latina nurses who keep our communities healthy.  You’re critical to our health care system – thank you for your work!
To all those observing Yom Kippur in Nevada and around the country, I’m wishing you a meaningful and easy fast. I hope this solemn day provides opportunity for prayer, reflection, and forgiveness. From my family to yours, G’mar Chatimah Tovah.
It was wonderful to visit the new Filipino American Museum in Las Vegas! The Filipino community makes Nevada’s culture and economy stronger, and I’m excited to see that this museum will serve as a dedicated space for celebrating the contributions of Filipino Americans in our state.
Veterans living in rural areas often face significant barriers to accessing health care – including traveling for hours to see a doctor.  I’m introducing a bipartisan bill to ensure adequate medical care is accessible to ALL of our veterans by identifying gaps in mobile health unit deployment.
On POW/MIA Recognition Day, we honor our American servicemembers who were held captive by enemy forces and those who remain missing in action. These heroes' service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Happy 79th birthday, U.S. Air Force! Nevada’s proud to be home to Nellis Air Force Base, Creech Air Force Base, and the NV National Guard 152nd Airlift Wing in Reno. Thank you to all the Airmen who courageously defend our skies, keep us safe, and fight for our freedoms. Aim high!
239 years ago, our nation’s Founding Fathers wrote the United States Constitution – laying the foundation for a system of government that has lasted for generations and the fundamental rights that we hold dear today.
The price of diesel just hit an all-time high of $6.60 a gallon thanks to Donald Trump’s war in Iran. Every truck delivering groceries to the store runs on diesel – so high diesel prices means food costs go up. It’s past time to end this war and focus on lowering prices for hardworking families.
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Nevada’s Latino communities are an important part of the cultural and economic fabric of our state and make us stronger. This month, we recognize and celebrate Latino communities’ rich contributions and traditions across our state and nation.
Shana Tova! Rosh Hashanah begins tonight at sundown – a time for Jews across the U.S. and the world to ring in the new year with loved ones, celebrations, and good food! Wishing all those celebrating a sweet and happy new year!
FCC Chairman Brendan Carr and the Trump Administration are continuing to use their power to censor content they don't like, and we know that it won't stop with Jimmy Kimmel — an attack on anyone's right to speak without government interference is an attack on all of us.
The government threatening networks just because it doesn't like what the opposition says is what we expect in dictatorships like Russia, Iran, and North Korea, not the United States of America.
Late-night talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel said he would not broadcast an interview he conducted with Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico because of pressure from the Trump administration.
