Elon Musk has said a bunch of lies, but one of the biggest is this idea that DOGE is firing federal workers for "poor performance." Well, those same employees just had glowing performance reviews. Musk and his cronies are lying through their teeth and the American people know it.
Secretary Rubio has long supported USAID programs, but is now joining Elon Musk’s campaign of lies and cheering his illegal DOGE operation — at great harm to our national security and foreign policy. Make no mistake: this will make Americans less safe. Another dark day.
Tweet from Secretary Rubio.
Americans depend on NOAA for everything from avoiding severe weather to knowing that their seafood is safe to eat. Elon Musk and Donald Trump are playing with the lives and livelihoods of the American people. We need to shut down their illegal operation NOW.
I was just at the Lincoln Memorial with thousands of concerned Americans and MAD scientists. And they’re right to be mad: Musk and Trump have declared war on science — gutting agencies that do lifesaving work for Americans, like NIH and NOAA. We're fighting back with all we've got.
They've done NOTHING to lower prices, but they've done EVERYTHING to rig the government for billionaires like Elon Musk at the expense of everybody else. It's the Great Betrayal of the American people — including those who voted for Donald Trump⬇️
Again, I asked Trump nominees a simple question: whether they believe Russia was the aggressor in the war against Ukraine. Again, they refused to answer. This is America in Retreat — not America First. What an embarrassment for our country.
Even Trump's acting head of SSA is worried about Musk and his band of 20-year-olds bulldozing Social Security. Make no mistake: we will fight like hell to protect people's hard-earned benefits and the dedicated public servants at SSA who deliver them.
We already know Musk is calling the shots at the White House. Clearly, he’s doing the same for most Senate Republicans, too. The man who spent $280M to elect Trump is taking a chainsaw to services for all Americans and rigging the government for billionaires like himself. A corrupt bargain.
🚨NEWS: The Trump Administration was just ordered to, at least for now, reinstate THOUSANDS of illegally fired "probationary" employees at USDA — laying the groundwork to reverse illegal firings across the government. Long way to go in this fight, but this is huge:
🚨SCOTUS has ordered the Trump Admin to resume payments for completed foreign aid work—after their illegal freeze forced groups to shutter projects worldwide. Trump’s illegal dismantling of USAID puts our national security at risk. This is an important step in our fight back.
We just heard lie after lie after lie from Donald Trump — all to distract from the fact that they're cutting vital services for working people to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. What an embarrassment.
No one is happier with Trump’s approach to Ukraine than his idol Vladimir Putin. Trump has thrown the Ukrainian people under the bus while abandoning our closest allies and our interests around the world. It’s a disgrace.
Our dedicated, nonpartisan federal employees work every day to deliver vital services for the American people. They are patriots with a commitment to public service — something Donald Trump will never understand.
Donald Trump says he’ll protect Social Security — but his plan to fire thousands of SSA employees could collapse the entire system and put Americans' hard-earned benefits at risk. We will fight like hell to protect Social Security from Trump, Musk and their band of billionaires.
Trump talks a big game on energy. But the fact is, he's GUTTING clean energy alternatives that Americans rely on to lower their electricity bills. This is after he told Big Oil execs that he'd deliver their wish list if they donated $1B to his campaign. Another corrupt bargain.
