A White House spokesman is free to lie that “offshore wind is the most expensive source of energy,” but in court when the states asserted huge consumer savings, the administration was conspicuously quiet. There are consequences for lying in court.
Low-cost wind would displace high-cost fossil, so by delaying it and raising your rates, they steer money to Trump’s big fossil fuel donors. Payback to cronies, with your dollars.
Offshore wind would make our grid more reliable in the winter, and reduce costs. Trumpsters lie about that to cover up the scam they’re running.
Add inexpensive clean energy to the grid, and some fossil fuel power plants JUST DON’T RUN, they’re idled. Fossil fuel pushes Trump’s goons to BAN CLEAN ENERGY to keep money coming in to their obsolete, expensive, polluting plants — and YOU PAY FOR IT.
Remember: when expensive, polluting fossil fuel plants come on line, the most expensive one sets the price for the ENTIRE GRID, which means consumer costs go WAY UP. You pay for this mess, and your costs are raised ON PURPOSE by Trump and his corrupt fossil fuel donors.
Again, YOUR prices go up, and Trump’s fossil fuel donors pocket the money (it’s billions, btw).
