For 33 years, Baltimore’s Civil Rights Breakfast has brought people together to honor our progress and recommit to the work that lies ahead. This city has a deep civil rights legacy, built by people who refused to let anyone else determine what was possible.
I want to thank Mayor Scott and his team for joining the Maryland Delegation as we discuss bringing federal resources to Baltimore. Team Maryland remains committed to supporting Baltimore and fighting to ensure Baltimore has what it needs to thrive.
Always happy to meet with Marylanders advocating with World Vision. Thank you for your work to ensure every child has access to nutritious food, clean water, health care, and a safe place to grow.
RFK Jr.’s leadership at HHS has been absolutely disastrous. Measles is surging, public health systems have been weakened, and families deserve science-based information—not conspiracy theories—when it comes to their children’s health.

Congratulations to the Hyattsville/Landover Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. on the grand opening of their new home! This space represents a lasting commitment to mentorship, opportunity, and investing in the next generation of young people.
Tune in to @morningjoe-msnow.bsky.social tomorrow around 7:15 AM ET. I’ll be in studio talking about RFK Jr.'s failures, the affordability crisis, and what families are facing across the country.
Had the best time celebrating Senator Barbara Mikulski's birthday, a true Maryland trailblazer. After a lifetime of opening doors for others, two years ago, she quite literally opened the Senate doors for me and welcomed me to the floor. Thank you, Senator Mikulski!
Trump’s nominee to lead the FDA can’t answer whether or not she believes that birth control contaminates our drinking water?? She'll be the one in charge of regulating medication. Yet her response shows she'll only advance RFK Jr.'s conspiracies.
Families should not have to wonder whether the products they rely on are safe. These recalls are yet another reminder of what happens when we lack leadership and oversight. RFK Jr. is steering our nation’s public health systems into the ground and Americans deserve better.
I was grateful to meet with Maryland Gold Star families during Gold Star Families Advocacy Week. We have a responsibility to honor their loved ones’ service and ensure surviving families receive the support and benefits they've earned.
Diesel keeps Maryland’s businesses running. A year ago, it was $3.70 a gallon. Today, it’s a record $6.49. Farmers and small businesses feel that increase first, and then it ripples through our entire economy. This Admin's war with Iran continues to hurt everyday Americans.
