More lies incoming!
First billionaire Elon Musk was against the Big Ugly Law — now he supports it. He wants to make sure Trump & Republicans keep taking health care & food assistance from the American people so billionaires like him can get bigger tax breaks.

We’ve seen the worst job numbers since COVID, his tariffs are jacking up prices, & his policies are driving up food, health care, and utility costs.
Trump doesn’t give a shit about bringing costs down for Americans. He hasn’t done a damn thing to make it better.
Unemployment is rising. Prices are surging. And Trump and Congressional Republicans’ reckless economic agenda is to blame.

@housedemocrats.bsky.social will continue to fight to make sure ICE is accountable and transparent in its actions.
Deception and lies cannot be a tactic for ICE agents. Thankfully, the courts have been doing their job to increase transparency and try to stop indiscriminate raids in our communities.

🚨 Trump is shutting down the EPA’s science office—firing 1,500+ experts who test air and water quality, study cancer-causing chemicals, and track climate threats.
This means more pollution, more health risks, and fewer protections for your family.
No science = no safety. #PublicHealth #EPA
Happy 235th anniversary to the U.S. Coast Guard!
I am proud to represent the U.S. Coast Guard Base Los Angeles/Long Beach. The Coast Guard is vital in protecting our ports, responding to crises, and ensuring maritime and commercial security. Thank you for your service.
Semper paratus!
$750 million of annual funding cuts from Trump’s Big Ugly Law means LA public clinics and hospitals will be understaffed, unable to conduct research, and at high risk of closing.
Low-income patients deserve the right to health and survival. This is unacceptable.

American families should NOT be footing the bill for billionaires’ tax cuts.
Health care costs are about to skyrocket for American families — all because of Trump and Republicans’ Big Ugly Law. In California, premiums are expected to go up 66% — that’s an extra $101/month on average. This is shameful and avoidable.

Interested in interning with my office? We’re accepting applications for our Fall 2025 Internship Program through August 15th. Visit my website to learn more. #NationalInternDay2025
Every semester, our office offers students a hands-on opportunity to serve the people of California’s 44th District and learn what public service looks like up close.
Thank you to our Summer 2025 Interns!
From Long Beach to Washington, D.C., our interns brought energy, passion, and heart to our work. Whether helping with policy research, staffing community events, or supporting press and legislative projects — they were part of the team every step of the way.
That would gut the benefits seniors earned and hand them over to Wall Street. @HouseDemocrats.bsky.social won’t let them dismantle the promise that millions of Americans count on. #HandsOffSocialSecurity
The Big Ugly Law keeps getting Uglier.
Trump and his Secretary of Treasury want to jeopardize your retirement safety net and said part of the Big Ugly Law is a “back door for privatizing Social Security.”

Families are stretched thin. We can’t afford policies that make groceries & household basics even more expensive.
Trump’s tariffs are hitting YOUR wallet.
New price hikes are coming this August on essentials like toothpaste, diapers & toilet paper— because of tariffs.
