House Republicans’ reckless budget scheme would slash Medicaid, undermine veterans' benefits, and take food away from children and seniors. Why? To pay for handouts to their billionaire donors.
If this legislation comes to the floor, I will be voting NO.

Anyone voting for the House GOP budget is voting for a $4,000,000,000,000 debt limit increase. Pass it on.

It is quite literally mathematically impossible to achieve $880 billion in Energy & Commerce cuts without huge cuts to health coverage. There is not close enough money they oversee that isn’t health coverage.
They are coming for your health care - all as a way to help pay for tax cuts for the rich.
House Democrats will keep fighting back against the abuses of the Musk/Trump Administration!
I recently spoke with Frankie Darcell on WDAS about how Democrats are fighting all on fronts to protect hard-working Americans. Learn more at evans.house.gov/whats-being-...
An unelected billionaire donor does not have the legal authority to fire our dedicated civil servants via tweet.
I joined 100+ of my Democratic colleagues in urging federal agencies to send out immediate guidance clarifying employees DO NOT have to respond to a likely unlawful email.
Democrats created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to protect hard-working Americans’ money.
Republicans dismantling the CFPB will just allow scammers, big corporations & Wall Street to rip people off without any consequences.

Good morning. This week Republicans in the House may take a vote to advance their budget plan. That budget plan would:
- Cut Medicaid by about $1 trillion
- Cut food stamps
- Spend trillions on tax cuts mostly for the rich and corporations
- Add trillions to the national debt
This week, the late John Lewis would have turned 85.
A dear friend and a hero of mine, it was a privilege to work alongside him in Congress. As we honor his legacy, let us continue fighting for justice for ALL and making some "good trouble" in the process.
Firing 7,000 IRS employees in the middle of tax filing season won't make the system more "efficient."
But it WILL make it easier for Trump's donor buddies to cheat on their taxes.
Once again, Republicans would rather help their billionaire friends than hard-working Americans.
Next week, House Republicans plan to hold a vote on their budget resolution, which will likely lead to substantial Medicaid cuts.
I vehemently oppose cuts to Medicaid. If this legislation comes to the floor, I will vote NO. #DontCutMyMedicaid

We've come a long way from "I will lower prices on day one"
From sending business supplies to life-saving medication to letters from loved ones, the USPS provides a crucial service ALL Americans rely on.
I oppose Trump's attempt to dismantle this independent agency – this would be another wild overreach of his constitutional authority.

Dear Republican colleagues: YOU ARE NOT HELPLESS. Courage is contagious.
Congress has the power of the purse under the Constitution. You can & should work with Democrats to pass real constraints on presidential power.

In the smack middle of filing season, the richest man in the world and his unqualified Muskateers are gearing up to gut the agency tasked with processing your returns, getting you a timely and fair refund, and making sure billionaires pay what they owe.
Rigged BS.
Even DOGE agrees — so far, the Republicans who control Congress seem more worried about appeasing the Musk/Trump Administration than protecting their own constituents.
Congressional Republicans have started to raise concerns over Musk/Trump's cuts to jobs & funding. But will they back their words up with VOTES?
Only 3 House Republicans need to join Democrats in fighting against these illegal cuts & invasions of your privacy. Just 3.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
