Republicans in DC are headed towards another shutdown while Republicans in North Carolina are focused on silencing American history, past and present.
The NC GOP should focus on finally passing a state budget instead of this harmful fearmongering and attempts to whitewash our school curriculums.
@bobbyscott.house.gov, @mcclellan.house.gov and I wrote to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission demanding an environmental report or termination of these projects to protect our communities. (2/2)
Despite pushback from communities and officials in North Carolina and Virginia, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission continues to fast-track approvals for pipeline projects without regard for its environmental impacts. (1/2)
If this report is true, Pete Hegseth has violated international law by ordering the killing of surviving crew members after a strike in international waters.
Hegseth must testify under oath immediately. He is a security threat and Americans deserve the truth.

Today is #SmallBusinessSaturday! Show our local communities and small businesses in #NC04 the support they deserve by shopping small today and every day.
The end of DOGE won't bring back the thousands of jobs which were stripped from hardworking Americans in my district.
I spoke to NOTUS to share more about the toll that Trump's senseless job cuts are taking on communities in the Triangle region.

Wishing everyone in #NC04 and beyond a happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a cheerful and restful holiday with your friends and family.
I am horrified to hear that two National Guardsmen were shot near the White House today.
Violence has no place in our country. I am grateful for the quick response from law enforcement and my prayers are with the victim's loved ones during this difficult time.

Earlier this year, Trump froze a record grant for NC to build the Raleigh-Richmond S-Line.
I'm grateful that NCDOT has pushed on, but this Administration's political games do nothing to help push transit forward. This funding must be restored immediately. (2/2)

ICYMI: NC By Train saw its highest ridership last month—setting a record in its 35-year history!
Public transit is connecting communities throughout our state and we must continue to provide North Carolinians with reliable and accessible modes of transportation. (1/2)

I had the pleasure of meeting with IBEW Local 553 to discuss how Congress can better prevent wage suppression and protect benefits for union electricians.
I'm always proud to work alongside unions to ensure they have the benefits and bargaining rights they deserve.
"Rep. Valerie Foushee said Tuesday that the deployment of immigration agents in North Carolina “is a profound abuse of power, a violation of civil rights and a stain on our democracy.””
I said what I said. Border agents shouldn't be in North Carolina—period.

🚨 BIG NEWS: I am proud to share that my office has helped return more than $5 million to constituents in #NC04 through casework!
If you are experiencing issues with a federal agency, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at 919-967-7924 or visit foushee.house.gov/agencies.
I introduced the bipartisan Military Family Diaper Assistance Act with Rep. Mackenzie to connect diaper banks with military installations to reduce diaper costs for servicemembers. (2/2)

No one should ever have to choose between buying diapers or groceries, and that includes our military families. (1/2)
Delivery routes in #NC04 are operating with reduced fleets because USPS vehicles are going unrepaired for months, causing delays & putting the safety of carriers at risk.
I’m demanding information from USPS on how they plan to address the urgent safety concerns and the mounting backlog of repairs.
There's no reason for border agents to be in North Carolina. It's dividing our communities and putting children and families at risk.
I joined WPTF Radio’s Lisa Price to further discuss this unnecessary use of federal resources, and our community’s response.

REMINDER: Regardless of immigration status, you have rights. Learn more at foushee.house.gov/know-your-rights-immigration.
It’s now reported that DHS has reversed course and will continue border agent operations in NC.
This ugly, systemic targeting of Black and Brown Americans is deeply troubling. I will ALWAYS stand with our immigrant communities—they deserve dignity and respect.
