From ripping 15 million Americans of their health insurance & purging the CDC of top health professionals, to slashing pediatric brain cancer research funding, the MAHA regime is destroying every aspect of health care in our country.
It makes me sick.

We're back in session today, so here's everything Republicans hoped you'd forget over recess:
-They voted to RAISE your energy bills
-They slashed essential programs to hand out tax breaks to billionaires
-Trump is in the Epstein files
Oh & tariffs are why prices are soaring...
Republicans like to say the Big Ugly Bill protects SNAP & Medicaid.
If those programs were “protected”, millions of Americans wouldn’t be at risk of losing food assistance & health care.
The only thing they voted to protect is the cash in billionaires’ wallets.
So far, this regime has:
-Forced 148,000+ federal workers out of their jobs
-Slashed union protections
-Gutted safety regulations for workers
So much for being "workers first"...
Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander women still face far too much discrimination in society and the workplace.
Today, on NHPI Women's Equal Pay Day, we must recommit to ending wage disparities & improving worker protections to break these harmful economic patterns in our country.
Billionaires in our country are currently paying LESS in taxes than everyday working-class Americans who live paycheck to paycheck.
Thanks to Republicans, families are struggling while the top 1% get richer...how is that fair?

My heart goes out to the victims at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis and all those impacted by this horrific crime.
Children should not have to live in fear. We need gun safety reform NOW.
DOGE's irresponsible & reckless actions have put the personal information of hundreds of millions of Americans at risk, leaving them vulnerable to identity theft – or worse.
The only thing DOGE has been “efficient” at is compromising the integrity of our government. www.nytimes.com/2025/08/26/u...
Trump is so bad at his job that grocery prices are higher than during a global pandemic, when people couldn’t even get toilet paper.
When are we going to get to experience this “party of fiscal responsibility” Republicans keep talking about?
In Republicans’ efforts to build the “GOLDEN AGE” of America, they voted to strip millions of their health care & hike energy costs – all while the price of everyday goods soar.
Let’s be honest, the only people experiencing the “GOLDEN AGE” under this regime are billionaires.
The Supreme Court just gave Trump the green light to cut nearly $800 MILLION in medical research.
These cuts will impact you, your families, and our communities.
The “Make America Healthy” Party just set America’s public health back by decades. It’s shameful.
In January, this regime fired qualified prosecutors for refusing to advance Trump’s political agenda.
Replacing qualified lawyers with military officers is a calculated move by Trump to stack the courts in his favor so he can continue to undermine the rule of law in our country.
Thank you President Trump! With your tariffs, the cost of vegetables is up by nearly 40%!
America hasn't seen grocery prices this high in over 40 years!
Trump's wealth has DOUBLED since taking office because he enacts policies that hurt the American people simply so he can line his own pockets.
He & his millionaire buddies are literally profiting off the policies that make your life more expensive.
It’s completely corrupt.
⬆️Unemployment is UP
⬆️Inflation is UP
⬆️Grocery costs are UP
⬆️The cost of electricity bills is UP
⬆️Prescription drug prices are UP
The only thing trending down under this regime is the amount billionaires have to pay in taxes.
Americans are struggling to afford groceries but Republicans want to spend MILLIONS to decorate their federal vehicles...
The party of fiscal responsibility everybody! www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/202...
65 years ago today, Hawaii officially became the 50th state to join the Union.
I'm so proud of our beautiful state & am honored to represent it in the U.S. Senate.
An estimated 93,000 will die a premature death due to the loss of SNAP between now and 2039.
The ‘Make America Healthy Again’ party would rather people sink deeper into poverty and food insecurity than get the essential assistance they need to buy groceries.
Last week, I celebrated the 90th anniversary of Social Security at the Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center.
I know how vital Social Security is to our kupuna, which is why I'll always fight to preserve & strengthen your hard-earned benefits from this regime's attacks.
On the campaign trail, Trump promised to:
-release the Epstein files
-lower costs
-end the war in Ukraine
-protect IVF
Now that he's in office, he’s failed to deliver on these promises.
It just confirms what we already knew: he is a liar.
