Let’s be very, very clear: Striking shipwrecked survivors is a war crime. Straight up.
We need the Department of Justice to open an investigation. If they don’t, a future Administration will.
We should all keep telling the truth: Sleepy Don is not fit for office.
Also, under Trump and Republicans’ failed policies, health care costs skyrocketed, grocery prices continue to increase and electricity prices are surging.
As a former prosecutor, I know a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich. The grand jury’s refusal today to indict Letitia James shows this case should never have been brought.
When we flip the House, we will investigate everyone involved for abuse of power.
And the Cleveland Browns are going to win the Super Bowl.

Survivors of human trafficking deserve justice and compassion, not criminalization.
Pleased that the House passed our bipartisan legislation to provide much-needed relief to trafficking survivors.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is unfit to serve.
He leaked classified information on Signal, potentially putting military pilots at risk. He then refused to cooperate with the IG.
He lied about a war crime, and then threw Admiral Bradley under the bus.
Hegseth must resign.
Trump’s economy sucks. 32,000 jobs were lost in the private sector last month.
The policies of Trump and rubber stamp Republicans are crushing the American people.
And what is Trump focused on? Making his Great Gatsby ballroom even bigger. And sleeping at Cabinet meetings.

AI has made it easier for scammers to take advantage of people.
We need to implement sensible guardrails on the ways AI can be used to cause harm. That’s why we introduced the bipartisan AI Fraud Deterrence Act to combat fraud committed with AI.

NEW: The governor of West Virginia says that two members of the state National Guard shot today in DC have died.
Pleased to introduce bipartisan legislation with Rep Dunn to crack down on fraud and scams committed with AI, including deepfakes.
The harmful economic policies of Trump and his rubber stamp Republicans are crushing the American people.
And the American people know it. Consumer confidence falls to lowest level in seven months.

Want another example of the White House treating Republican Members like garbage? The WH is trying, again, to jam through an unrelated AI moratorium on states after the first try failed 99-1.
The White House has largely ignored rank and file Republican Members on AI issues.
The harmful policies of Trump and rubber stamp Republicans are crushing the American people.
-Grocery prices are up
-Car prices are up
-Healthcare prices are up
And what is Trump focused on? His parties with billionaires, his used jet from Qatar, and his Epstein ballroom.

The Trump Administration’s cuts to the Office of Space Commerce could jeopardize space traffic coordination, critical defense missions, and commercial space operations.
Leading bipartisan demands with Rep. Don Bacon to OMB Director Russ Vought to enact full funding for the OSC.

Southern California has been experiencing severe rainstorms, which is stress testing our region’s critical infrastructure.
Pleased to announce I fought for and secured federal funding for Rolling Hills Estates to repair and upgrade stormwater resilience projects.

Unemployment is now the highest it’s been since 2021.
Trump and Republicans need to take their heads out of the sand and focus on the economy and affordability.
