Small businesses are the backbone of America’s economy. So many of them have been able to grow & create jobs because of the ACA. I’m here in Washington, D.C. ready to work. Republicans, join me in extending ACA premium tax credits to support small businesses and the millions they employ.
Donald Trump is avoiding dealing with the GOP health care crisis, leaving millions of Americans anxiously waiting to see how much their premiums rise.   But thankfully the White House renovation budget has not been impacted and work continues on the One Big, Beautiful Ballroom.
Trump's blanket pardons for Jan 6th rioters put violent criminals back on the streets and emboldened extremists. For too long, Republicans have excused even Trump’s most grotesque behavior. Every Republican should be condemning these pardons that directly led to threats to kill Leader Jeffries.
Ron Johnson says it won’t be “gut wrenching” if ACA enhanced subsidies “just go away.” Tell that to the 235,000 Wisconsinites who would see their monthly out of pocket costs skyrocket, or be priced out of affording insurance at all.
This week, SCOTUS is hearing a case that essentially boils down to GOP states trying to silence black voters. Justice Kavanaugh is musing that racism might be over and the Voting Rights Act should be dismantled. Meanwhile the headlines coming out about Republicans this week:
On this Wear Purple Day, @demwomencaucus.bsky.social stands united to support survivors of domestic violence. DV is not just “a fight between a man and wife,” like President Trump implied, it’s a public health issue that must be addressed at the federal level.
What is there to investigate? It was only discovered after someone had a virtual meeting with the staffer. Ridiculous claims of vandalism are deflections. The question we should be asking is why a Nazi flag was allowed in the office, and why GOP leaders normalize hate.
EXCLUSIVE: Capitol Police are investigating a swastika found in GOP Rep. Dave Taylor’s office. “The content of that image does not reflect the values or standards of this office, my staff, or myself, and I condemn it in the strongest terms," Taylor said in a statement.
The leaked GOP staffer texts glorifying Nazis are appalling but not surprising. When extremism is tolerated at the top, it festers in every corner. That's why they fear “woke” — because basic decency threatens the hateful ideology they’ve built their movement around. www.politico.com/news/2025/10...
Republicans gutted Medicaid and took no action on ACA tax credits, which will cut health care and spike costs for millions. Now they’re hiding at home. I’m here in D.C ready to work, calling on Republicans to come to the negotiating table and save our constituents’ health care.
