Since Trump returned to the WH, the VA is losing therapists faster than it can hire them. We ask our troops to risk everything for this country. The least we can do is ensure they have access to the care they have earned. They deserve better.
If only Trump would fight to lower costs as much as he is fighting to remove 300,000 lawfully present people who have paid the necessary fees and followed the rules in our country.
Breaking News: The Trump administration asked the Supreme Court to allow it to end a program shielding hundreds of thousands of Haitians from deportation.
The fight for equality has always been led by women who refused to accept the status quo. On this International Women's Day, we honor their courage and re-commit to finishing the hard work they started.
Conditions in ICE detention facilities continue to be inhumane, which is why Rep. Moulton joined a letter demanding the closure of Camp East Montana. Reports now say the facility is shutting down. That's a start, but more needs to be done.
Today, I - along with Rep. Pramila Jayapal, Ranking Member of the Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement Subcommittee, and 22 other Members of Congress - sent a letter to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons calling for the immediate closure of Camp East Montana.
Yesterday the House passed Rep. Moulton's bipartisan legislation, the Captain Accursio "Gus" Sanfilippo Young Fisherman's Development Act, named after the captain of the Lily Jean, which tragically sunk off the coast of Gloucester.
Rep. Moulton introduced the Defend Elections from Trump Act today, legislation designed to prohibit the use of federal funds to deploy federal law enforcement, intel personnel, or the military to polling locations without congressional authorization.
The Office of Congressman Moulton is holding local office hours. Staff will be available to meet with constituents on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment necessary. We look forward to seeing you!
