Metro’s Million Dollar Match shows what’s possible when we come together to support lifelong learning. Thanks to this partnership and generous community support, wait times for books are already coming down and more Louisvillians can appreciate all our libraries have to offer!
Happy New Year, Louisville! I hope this year brings you and your family joy and opportunity, and I'm looking forward to our continued work together to strengthen our community and tackle the challenges our neighbors are facing.
Our prayers are with the family of Alain Rodriguez Colina, the 15th victim of the UPS crash. Together, as a community, we’re holding them — and every family impacted — especially close in our hearts this holiday season.
American Village is home to more than 200 low-income seniors, many of whom are disabled. Undignified and unsafe living conditions are unacceptable — especially when landlords use taxpayer money to create these squalid conditions. I'm calling on HUD to investigate.
Holiday Cards for Heroes is hands down one of my favorite holiday traditions each year. Thank you so much to everyone from Middletown Elementary School and HarborHouse who took the time to make these beautiful cards. It was an honor to hand-deliver them to local veterans.
We have the votes to extend the ACA tax credits, but Mike Johnson is sending us home early. Everyone's health care will be more expensive in 2026 if we don't act — that's the choice he's making. We're demanding a vote to extend the credits TODAY.
Our country owes coal miners so much, but too many miners feel the system is rigged against them. They're right. It's too hard for miners and their survivors to get the benefits they've earned. We're working to change that.
From veterans benefits to passports, Team McGarvey is here to help. Since coming to Congress, we've resolved over 4,100 federal cases and put over $11 million back in Louisvillians' pockets—and counting! If you need help, give us a call at (502) 582-5129.
The Ohio River needs our help — it's the largest body of water that doesn't get a dime of dedicated federal funding. We're renewing our push to revitalize the Ohio, and we're building a broad coalition to get this effort across the finish line. bit.ly/3MqNRoU
Wishing a warm and joyful first night of Hanukkah to all celebrating in Louisville tonight. I am hoping that this holiday season brings you strength, light, and meaningful time spent with loved ones.
