The House Rules Committee voted 7-4 along party lines on Monday night to defeat plans from Democrats to stop the Trump $1.8 billion 'anti-weaponization' fund, and to prevent Jan. 6 convicts from getting any of that money. All Democrats supported the measure. All Republicans were opposed.
The President is claiming - with no evidence and contrary to the facts - that California's slow process for counting votes is caused by fraud. The explanation is simple and readily available for those who care about the truth.
Republicans refuse to work with Democrats to negotiate a bipartisan funding deal, EVEN when it means making life better and more affordable for the American people.
ICE and CBP have BILLIONS left from the money given to them through the Big Ugly Bill. It begs the question: where is this money going? The American people deserve to know the answer.
These are people with green cards, refugees, and people with valid work authorizations, but Stephen Miller and his crew want to weaponize the government to drive legal immigrants out of the country.
The Trump Administration tried to declare that 3 million immigrants, including taxpayers who are in the United States legally, were dead in order to cut them off from banking and other government services necessary in modern-day America.

Senate Republicans just voted to send ICE $72 BILLION without any reforms.
Now ICE is hiding data on the condition of their detention facilities, their treatment of detainees, and the deaths that have resulted.
Republicans chose to bankroll this cruelty and lack of transparency.
We should not retreat from this success. We must enact common-sense gun safety laws to protect our children and communities.
I am particularly proud of collaborative efforts in Chester and Philadelphia that have reduced juvenile gun violence and shooting deaths. But the Trump Administration and Congressional Republicans are defunding these programs.
